    Romford is great for spotting. The 745s really do fly, even though GAML VMax is only 100.
    The freight workings also make a terrific whizz.

      Shame they didn't make the track REAL high Speed (=> 250 km/h), the UK has fallen behind on HSR which Is saddening for the state that invented it. What makes things worse is having airports so far away from cities. Another problem is pricing, way too expensive which obviously doesn't fare well against buses or driving yourself..

      @@Pilloledisaggezza_italy Well, I think that better than an upgrade would be a brand new fast line King's Cross - Stansted - Cambridge. This route is not bad for what it is, but is from the Victorian era.
      Note also this is not the route to Stansted even though they use the Stansted 745s from time to time here. The West Anglian Main Line to Stansted is slower than this Great Eastern Main Line to Norwich.
