I have that exact same Seiko. It is a beast and looks and feels way more expensive than it is. Whoever wins it will be very happy with it. Glad you got it on the jubilee as the rubber is manky!

Your reviews are very enjoyable to watch and you're mainly the reason why I started getting into watches. SKX009 is one of the watch i want to add in my collection, “BARK AND JACK GIVE ME THAT SKX009” but I don't really care much about winning or losing, but i hope your channel grows. Keep on inspiring others.
First of all congrats, great achievement, just passed the 900 mark so I can tell how hard it is. SKX is everybody’s darling and it’s a beautiful watch, especially on the jubilee bracelet.
The blue to me is more versatile than the black, I myself though prefer the blue citizen promaster which actually comes with an additional manual wind-able movement.

The first 1,000 is really hard. Keep going though. Once you're over 1,000 it gets so much easier.

....I recently lost my skx while swimming on a holiday (i knew i should have put a nato on rather that good ol jubilee but there you go) and been looking to replace it with another skx simply because i love this watch to bits...having owned rolexes and omegas in the past, skx has been one watch that never got flipped and always had its stable place in my collection...i think this says it all...this video is like a godsend to me and i`ll be hoping to hear from you, Adrian :-) congratulations to your 10k subscribers, your channel is one of those i go to often and this way i want to thank you for bringing interesting and quality content...keep it up!

My father recently broke his work horse watch, a Tag Heuer Calibre 6, he's banged it up and dropped it a couple of times which has caused the movement to stop working entirely. I'd love to win this watch for him because I think he will definitely appreciate not only the watch itself but the timing bezel as he works in a kitchen environment and it will definitely help him keep track of time on things. Please let me get that SKX!

SKX007/009 best bang for the buck in a ISO cert dive watch. Just pulled mine off the time grapher and with a little bit of adjustment have mine running to within +- 4 sec per day. Love your style and reviews.

Literally just stumbled upon your channel today. Glad I did, these reviews are solid! Only have one automatic watch at the moment (Blue dial Seiko 5 SNKE51) but iv'e always wanted an SKX. Figured i'd use one snorkelling but probably as an everyday watch too because there so damn nice! Great content cheers! ! :) !

been a subscriber from the start. big watch fan and a soft spot for seiko. Started when my wife bought me a seiko 4336-8110 for my 18th birthday in 1978, it works perfectly and it still gets wrist time 40 years on! I also own a vintage diver 0040 which I enjoy from time to time. would love the skx and of course it would have a special place in the collection and would clearly be a talking point.

Congrats on now 13k subs. Blue's my favorite color, the watch looks quite incredible. I've been looking at getting my first mechanical watch, been considering the Seiko 5, Orient 3 star, seagull, as well as some others. I really quite like the looks of that 009 but it's a bit more spendy than I'm looking for in my first mechanical watch (and I'm not sure if my ~6.5"ish wrist can carry it well).

It's hard to differentiate oneself from the UA-cam crowd, great editing is not enough, the person in the video must have personality! Something you indeed have and I'm a happy subscriber. I've been unable to decide which one I like more, the 007 or 009. the 007 is maybe more versatile due to its black colour, and the 009 is playful, yet bold. I'll be graduating from school in a few weeks, and a proper watch is something I've been looking into to celebrate the occasion. The 009 has definitely been on my radar and is a fantastic piece! I have really been enjoying your take on watches and you have been a huge part of my journey into this wonderful of watches.
I bought(got for Christmas from my wonderful girlfriend) a Seiko SNXS77 (my first mechanical watch who's brother you did a great review on a few weeks ago) and I have loved it so much. The character of the 7s26c makes it even more special for me. For me, the SKX009 is the perfect value watch, the most value you can get in a case with a no-frills movement that you can wear every day. I plan to wear my SKX (if I win) as my everyday watch as it can go with anything and will fit in great with my work, especially on that jubilee.
