Awesome effort Kerr. It takes a real champion to turn up and put it all on the line just days after becoming world champion. Everyone in the field is still hungry and he has just achieved his life’s dream. Not easy racing again. The easy option would have been to put his feet up and do some media and sponsorship work then peak for Olympics. Thanks for putting on a show today Kerr! Almost led the whole thing. If he dipped and put out his arms he would have won and then the story would have been that Kerr can sit and kick and also lead and win. Regardless definitely the man to beat now and one of the best ever!
These guys who run these races when Jakob isn't there will realize how hard it is to do what he does. It's a lot easier being the hunter than being those who are hunted!
Kerr looks to have lost a ton of bodyweight in relative terms, he looked at times before like an 800m runner but now has the physique of a standard 1500m but the power and strength of a shorter distance runner
the guy looks emaciated, seriously. Maybe its just cause in this interveiw he is coming off a race, but he does not look healthy. My guess is that unless he adds 10-15 pounds quick he is not going to make it to paris.
@@marksummers6903 bahahaha you crack me up, guy wins worlds with 3:29 and 5 days later you tell him his dieting and training isnt working and he needs to gain back weight. you got negative iq m8 looooooooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuulllllllllllllllllll
@@marksummers6903propably will sustain a stress fracture or something like this. I bet genetically he is just a guy who has more bodyfat to be healthy unlike Nuguse or so. Hope he stays injury free
Yeah he didn’t and he will never beat Jakob again. Had luck he was having a flu or being just sick. Running fast is hard that is why Jakob is the greatest miler in the World, he wins back to back to back and don’t think Kerr will win another major gold, or diamond league again

One time front running and he is almost puking on the media😂

That’s so true, both the physical benefits from reduced drag ass well as the mental benefits add up to a huge effect.
Reduced drag ass😂

And damn he got lean.
He was always a big fella but now he is so ripped
The next guy with some excuses? yeah, it aint easy is it?
He may be world champion, but don't know what it means. i'd rather see him running sub 2.29
I would first settle with sub 3.29
@@carlpeterkirkebo2036 I meant that. Sub 3.29.
