Hello! I am coming over from my friend Syd's LIVE from the Meet Up we were at together! I have subscribed and look forward to checking out your channel. Nice To Meet You!
Hi.. Tnx for the video, i watched every one that isnon line, i cant find the part number for the o ring the sits betwin the pipe and heatercore, can please please please !!!! Help me with that ? I have a unit wating to install almostba year now, camt wothout replacing the old ones . Thank you . Ooo NB heater of course
If you buy a box of assorted O rings there will be ones that fit, or you can try to order from the dealer or some miata store. Far as temp wise I been roughly at 185 -190 which is normal. No leaks so far and since I have a dual row radiator the enguine runs a lot cooler
@@Tennesseeroadster222 i asked every ebay sellerm post on every clip i saw on that matter and got nothing, i might try to your o oring box, thanks friend .
Sorry for the late reply, so what I did was to have to trim around the opening, where the old one went the old copper heater core are little thinner then the aluminum nb. I hope it works, it took me some time working it in but so far after a year it's still going
I used a 1999-2000 Heather core I got the full assembly from ebay that included tubes which are the key. If the core you is good then you can slip that one in the housing
This video is a mess why all the music and 2 right when your explaining something it cuts and you cant see the process of how you got it out like example the heater core screws i wanted to see how you were bale to remove them then it cuts to the thing fully out of the car. Anyway im doing this on my NA and im taking anything i can get as far as knowledge so thanks
This was over 2 and half hours of trying to video and do it the same time. There are other videos that are simular to mine. to get the heater core out you have to cut the pipes 1 is welded on 1 is clamped on. It's hard to get any camera up on a tight place I barely fit This version is if you DONT want to remove the dash and all the interior. I appreciate the feedback 🙏 If you look there are others to reference from.
@@Tennesseeroadster222 I got it today 🏆 Had to do alot of cutting. And also those clamps kicked my ass at first I realized they go on easier if you barley screw them on then connect them to the core once over the core end tighten

Also, na is harder then nb, once it done it will run cooler with the aluminum instead of the copper,
@@Tennesseeroadster222 im screwed NB heater core is not fitting at all for me
Have you tried to , use a dermal around the opening where the core goes into,
I had to shave some around to fit to slide in.
