As far as the Kia/Hyundai sign, it's due to having an issue with the trailer hitch that can cause the car to catch fire. So, many parking garages won't let them park there due to the possibility of fire (and those particular models are supposed to be parked outside for the same reason).
@@EdyAlbertoMSGT3 As I understand it, it's due to the wiring. Lots of trailers have lights in the back for stopping, turning, etc. and they need to be wired to the vehicle.
As a left-handed person I’m personally tired of people hating on the fact I don’t use my right hand for most stuff. Once somebody told me “you’re writing with the wrong hand” simply because I write with my left hand

I know how that feels I used my left hand when I was a toddler and my mom made me write to my right hand but I can use my left hand write and when I write with my left hand people say “your doing it wrong”and starts to point to my right hand
Regarding the repeated 'Jeffery' and job database issue, I think I worked with someone who had this issue. Dude was hired during the pandemic and given all the necessary training and junk, but they found out his name matched another employee's name to the letter, who had already been fired and listed as not rehireable. This prevented them from giving him certain credentials necessary to actually do the work he was hired for. They couldn't fire him without just cause, and they were most likely keeping him around to avoid potential legal disputes due to discrimination loopholes, because for the next six months, this dude just came into work on time, walked around the floor, did what the supervisors asked him to do, then leave. Didn't do a bit of actual work for six months and got paid just the same as the rest of us due to some database BS the higher ups couldn't correct.
19:30 If a variable in the database is called “Jeffry” then adding a new variable of the same name could cause one of four errors 1. The two variables overlap and it breaks the system requiring a reboot and possibly factory reset if the name can’t be removed 2. Jeffry (person) information is added to the Jeffry variable causing a crash when it tries to recall from variable Jeffry 3. The two variables are constantly being interchanged and making an error occur sometimes 4. Jeffry variable is set String as Integer/Float, causing an error
Once upon a time, it was believed being left-handed was a sign of the devil. So they did everything to switch such kids to using their right hands. Some tales I've heard ranged from calmer ones such as taking the pen out of the kid's left hand and in their right one, to harsher tales of teachers/parents beating kids for using their left hand
interesting funfact just a few years ago schools would send home students with corporal punishment permission slips (permission to get beaten or whipped in school).

19:40 Yes, due to reasons similar to the causes behind RAM manipulation, there are oddly specific combinations of letters that sometimes will not work in a program for no explainable reason. This is very possible.

I think the best example of my own r/F***you in particular story happened when I was about 7. My dear sweet mother got a bag of lucky charms, my brother got the first bowl the next day, and every other piece in that bowl was a marshmallow. Nice! When I got mine, there were only 3 in the entire bowl, beautifully presented on the top in a nice triangle. One was even one of those stupid 1/4 marshmallows.
19:39 This could be due to the fact they might use the first name as the primary identifier (also known as a foreign key) in the database meaning that if someone else is called Jeffery it wouldn't work. One way they could solve this is to add a random number or letter after the name, but it would mean that all correspondence might need logical changes OR they just accept their name as Jeffery1 now. This could cause tax issues though as the name data would not be accurate. It would be a whole thing trust me. This is why you don't use useful data as a foreign key.
As someone who has written a database, yes. That’s probably what happened. They didn’t use a unique identifier so now they can’t have more than one person with the same name. Whoever designed that database is lazy as shit.
19:41 my best guess is that when the database was first being set up, they made it so searches for employees are done by first name. This is bad coding because it could cause problems if there is more than 1 employee with that name (it might return the wrong employee) and they decided it was too expensive to fix. Still dumb though.
just make his name "Jeff" or "Jeffrey2" or "jeffrey (followed by the first letter of their last name)". This issue is too simple to fix it can't be the reason

Not only is the memorization of an entire Scrabble dictionary impressive in and of itself. The ability to win is still a feat in and of itself. Just because you know all of the words, doesn't mean you can recall the best ones fast enough for the situation. It's like being able to have a textbook during a test, you are still going to see people failing the test. I looked up how to pronounce Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz and after about 10 listens, I still can only reliable get the first and last half of the last. That sign about the Telluride and Pallisade looks very fake.
Consider it this way. Scrabble is not really about language, it is a pattern matching game. Frankly, it is not really different than memorizing all English words. There are 267 751 words in it. I find it hilarious that people only really find it impressive when the guy does it with French, despite him knowing the existence of a TON of English words no one would ever consider. The impressive part is memorizing tons of words, but in reality, it is no more impressive doing it with French when you can't speak French. It is a funny meme though, but I find it weird that people are often praising the wrong thing.

As far as the Kia/Hyundai sign, it's due to having an issue with the trailer hitch that can cause the car to catch fire. So, many parking garages won't let them park there due to the possibility of fire (and those particular models are supposed to be parked outside for the same reason).
time for a recall
Okay but how the hell does the trailer hitch cause a fire?
@@EdyAlbertoMSGT3 As I understand it, it's due to the wiring. Lots of trailers have lights in the back for stopping, turning, etc. and they need to be wired to the vehicle.
32:51 it’s because they were recalled for battery fires .

19:30 If a variable in the database is called “Jeffry” then adding a new variable of the same name could cause one of four errors
1. The two variables overlap and it breaks the system requiring a reboot and possibly factory reset if the name can’t be removed
2. Jeffry (person) information is added to the Jeffry variable causing a crash when it tries to recall from variable Jeffry
3. The two variables are constantly being interchanged and making an error occur sometimes
4. Jeffry variable is set String as Integer/Float, causing an error
Once upon a time, it was believed being left-handed was a sign of the devil. So they did everything to switch such kids to using their right hands. Some tales I've heard ranged from calmer ones such as taking the pen out of the kid's left hand and in their right one, to harsher tales of teachers/parents beating kids for using their left hand
interesting funfact just a few years ago schools would send home students with corporal punishment permission slips (permission to get beaten or whipped in school).
people at LEAST as recently as the year 2005 still believe this!!! probably an insane, very small minority, but my kindergarten sunday school teacher once screamed at me and forced me to sit on my left hand the rest of the morning instead of playing. 😬 my parents were NOT happy to hear about that one! “coincidentally,” she never taught class again. 🤔
