I used to have similar control with my DCTLs But now Blackmagic have it native in in Resolve 19 with a much better interface and features. Cheers to Blackmagic for doing this. A very powerful tool.
Yessss the new update puts a lot of Dctl creators out of business!

Once again, a great tutorial showing the best Davinci Resolve Studio 19 has to offer.
I am editing an aerial film right now so the new colour controls are a big hit for me, or maybe. That depends on how well they will help bring out subte tones in 8 bit footage. I shot the project on a DJI P4P which unfortunately is 8 bit only.
I suppose it is too early for you to have tried 8 bit with the colour tools.
What are your thoughts though on editing 8 bit this way? Thx again Kasia

Why?
Everyone can get an access to high dynamic range footage if they really want to learn working with different camera formats, whether it’s Artgrid or similar websites or different color grading courses. I don’t appreciate hatred here. This is my channel and I show what I want to show.
@@colorgradinginsights dont take it so personal, your channel is amazing. But most people cant afford Arri Alexa cameras, and at some point they will want to grade their own footage. Would be a great choice for your channel to choose more affordable prosumer cameras than a 50 000$ camera none of your subscribers can afford. And to be honest Arri Alexa clips are the easiest to grade cause its such a amazing camera. Just my two cents. And thanks for all your insightful videos
@@ViziaFilms I am just showing how the tools work and also to my make tutos more visually pleasing! It doesn’t mean you can’t use the software with consumer cameras but there are some limitations! Thanks for you comment though and for watching my videos, it means a lot.

Not necessarily! A proper knowledge of all tools is needed to make good creative decisions.
