Thank you heaps for the video, love the energy and enthusiasm you guys displayed throughout the pilgrimage (I'm a MEGA S;G fan too). The most widely accepted location of the Future Gadget Lab is either the building with the shut grey shutter door on the left of the power pole (my personal favorite) or the building with the motorcycle infront on the right of the power pole at 12:51 . The creators changed the look to protect the residents living there probably. PS: I love the view of Horin Park at the end of the street, just like how it is in the show :3
14:04 the lab is literally right behind you!!!! The one with the blue tarp that you're standing under...that's the actual lab, I also have a video on my channel where I show the lab, the park and I also managed to film in the maid cafe. To be fair..I didn't see the shrine so glad I got to see it in your video.
I am going to Japan in summer of 2024 and I already told my buddies we should see a couple of these locations. Thank you for placing the google maps locations. This is kind of random but thanks for informing us of what was on the wall here I was just going to ask about it! 7:16
Love the video! Glad you didn't fall through a time hole, meet crocodile versions of yourselves, developed a love for fly fishing, or made any sports bets! I haven't watched Steins Gate, so I just threw together some time/dimension travel references and went for it!
Returning to japan after almost skimming by this place the last time me and the gf were there back in '19! While she's sadly not too big on the show, it's definitely a place I'm snagging a pic for when we pop by in a few short weeks :D Thanks so much for the guide - it's super helpful and currently the most recent snapshot of the locations I can find. Here's hoping I find a strong candidate for the Future Gadget Labs!!!
Thanks so much for the info. I'm trying to plan a trip to Japan for the kids and their friends. I found your channel from a vlog on Oarai and found you and your BF to be very enthusiastic and full of positive energy! You make watching your vlogs very easy. I do have one request if I may. Would it be possible to use google maps to guide us along your path? Many who are watching would really benefit from that. Thanks again! Really enjoyed it
I could make that possible! Maybe I'll make a video actually mapping out everything. I do have links to the Google maps of places I visit in the description of at least this video! Thank you so much for your kind comment!
Hey, came back to say, I just went to the Steins;Gate cafe today. It was fun, thank you for the address. I got the まゆしいバナナミルク (Mayuri Banana Milk) It’s relatively expensive, but it’s for the experience. I’m having a great time in Japan!
Thanks for sharing these cool trips with us. It really neat to see your all’s enthusiasm. A bit of a random question, I saw a headline saying it was only 8 or so days until the Olympics start. What are your thoughts, living in the host country during this crazy time? Looking forward to watching? After watching a climbing anime I might be interested in the climbing events.
My view of the Olympics right now is very negative. 80% of Japanese citizens did not want the Olympics to happen to due the virus, yet money always prevails. Many athletes and other Olympic guests have shown up to Japan with the virus, and it all just seems silly considering only 5 percent of the country is vaccinated.
The Radio Hall has been rebuilt and is slightly different from the story. The staircase of the building at that time was the same as in the story of Steins;Gate.
@@GingerGaiden Thank you for the reply! Very appreciated :) I sensed it was something like that but i really didn't remember 🤗 Now it's clear thank you again 😊
Glad I have seen this place with my own eyes.
Also, Steins gate is a masterpiece of Anime world
The anime/VN is accurate even to the beef bowl shop, "No phones/recording!!" Lol!
So it is! Even more realism in Akiba huh lol

Ahhh! I see, yea there are so many lockers that look JUST like it haha
Steins;Gate is the best franchise i’ve ever watched, it made me cried my heart out from both sadness and happiness 😭😭
I am right there with you on that! Just a wonderful series with amazing characters
Yes
Fucking real as shit. Best story of all time, with the best cast as well.

Ah neat! Yea we couldn't find it. Interesting you could record at the Maid Cafe, it's usually a huge taboo so I didn't even try

So have you watched it?

@@GingerGaiden wow! I had no idea athletes brought the virus with them!
@@annamae4761 yea out of 14k people coming in it was bound to happen sadly
@@GingerGaiden I heard they were not going to have the stadium open to spectators because of the virus. Is that true?
An interesting city to visit is Akihabara.
Be careful the "Organization" is watching all of us.
We made sure to be careful!
The Radio Kaikan in Akihabara was torn down and replaced by a new building due to its age.

@@GingerGaiden so I guess there are no longer the stairs that Okabe went up to find Kurisu dead? :(

There's definitely more to come! Next one in the fall!

I’m not a crazy big Steins;Gate fan, I’ve only watched the 25 episode original show, but that show is in my top 3 anime I’ve watched.
at 13:10 the right isnt it?
thankjs for this viedo ,
I watched the anime but i'm struggling remembering what really happens at the bridge at 5:18, can someone explain please i'm going mad 😂🙏🏻
There's several conversations that happen on that bridge more in the VN, but also a scene where you know who is found dead in the time loop

Thanks , best steins;gate pilgrim i've ever watched.
Thank you SO much! That means a lot
This must be the only one of video that visit the manhole, most of other video only cover the common place that take place in anime.
Oh my god i wanna go there in full Steins;Gate cosplay and just weeb out
Cosplay rules in Japan are strict but if you are sneaky and careful it's very possible!
