    I like the 3L Peak Design sling (v2) but not the 6L and 10L - they seem to be larger than they ought to be. I've been interested in the Wandrd slings for a long time but never pulled the trigger for two reasons: I imagine the exterior "cracking" after a few years of use, and the strap adjustability does not seem to be as good as PD's (which I love)
    Nice video - covers most things other reviewers dont

      I wouldn't worry about the Wardrd wearing down from normal use. It is very well made. Have you seen any reports of "cracking" from earlier Wandrd bags using the same material? Strap is MUCH better on PD

    I appreciate the information on the fit and the great review. Especially on the size for a larger guy. Do you think the Wandr 9L would alleviate that issue? Im having a hard time pulling the trigger on one of these bags without actually trying one on. Thanks again. Nice video.

      Thanks! I bet they use the same straps for both bags, that might be something to check out on their website. You can hold more stuff in the PD vs Wandrd even though they are advertised as the same size, and the strap is much more comfortable on the PD if you can get past the "purse" look. If I were to buy a Wandrd again I would definitely choose the 9L simply b/c sometimes I carry a larger camera such at A7R5

      @@hasenmyer Thanks. I get what you are saying. I want to like the Wandrd, but my brain is glitching on some of the design things I know will throw me off. The PD is way more practical, but it's just kinda ugly. Which if you are doing street- maybe isnt a bad thing. Part of me wants that Sedona Orange - and the other part is like get the sharpie out to write Mug Me! I got camera gear!! lol. My happy place might end up being the 6L for EDC / street and the Prvke 31 for travel. Now, if I can get my bank account to agree. Thanks again

    The whole problem with getting a bigger bag is that it will just make you carry more stuff that you probably just won’t need to bring along with you.

      100%. I have a 13L sling and I can REALLY pack it out, if I do, it's WAY too heavy

    I bought a peak design sling and I just couldn't seem to get along with it. Now it just use it to store some gear. The Wandrd looks cool, but sounds like it's not real practical for FF cameras.

      6L Wardrd will hold it just not comfortably, I"m thinking 9L will be best for FF. Still though, the PD looks like a purse. I don't know why that bothers me so much but it does.

      @@hasenmyer you think the 6l bag would have the eye piece issue with the sony a7iv?

      @hasenmyer  10 місяців тому +1

      @@OfficialGundem Yes the a7iv and A7R5 are basically the same size..it will fit, but not comfortably. I would advise the 9L if you have a larger camera
