Seeing Slipknot live is unexplainable. I saw them at download last year. There was a moment where 85,000 people were screaming WE ARE NOT YOUR KIND in unison. There was so much aggression and anger but the message was so positive and it just genuinely felt like a huge family. Download was by far the friendliest looking festival with the most unfriendly looking people 😂.

It literally hurt when they canceled Sonic Temple Fest in May in Columbus, OH. We were going to see Slipknot that Saturday night. I was sooo ready to see them again. My wife and I bought our tickets back in January. One day, we will all be jammed together moshing around again

Granted i have been a huge follower of Slipknot, I still think the self titled and Iowa albums can't be touched musically, but i understand that bands evolve. All I am trying to say is listen to their earlier works.
