Just fuck up any possible faith builds which were still dogshit aside from the perfume bottles which aren't really that strong compared to other boss 1 shot builds and if you walked in to the rolling sparks ash in pvp then you absolutely deserved it. Zero surprises here that they would do this.
Nerfs are necessary, but if you nerf a weapon or ability to the point it becomes almost useless, then nobody will want use it anymore. I still remember Flame of the Redmanes...

A game is balanced when either nothing is op or everything is op (not absolutely everything but an op option in every build type). I am a faith user since day one and have been willing to stick with the game despite being clearly disfavored in virtually all ways. With this though, I am possibly done. When a game forces me in to a specific build path in order to be viable (particularly pvp) then they lose me immediately.

i think of all the bosses ive encountered so far consort Radahn is the most unrelenting in attacks.. i think i could possibly dodge them but on an aging ps4 it takes about 1 second before a roll registers in an animation heavy boss fight
Perfumes are working as originally intended. They still decimate larger enemies, and enemies at medium distance. They were never intended to have all explosions proc at once when cast at your feet.
Nerfed perfumes but leave jump bleeds to be the most op and have so much variety? Cmon miyazaki nerf bleed so other builds can shine more or just buff other builds ffs
What are you on about. It's probably the easiest dlc fs has ever released. Cheesing every encounter with with a single button press is nonsense. It diminishes the integrity of the game. Both pve and especially pvp. It was a much needed patch and they said they still have more balancing to do.
Can’t recommend Spinning Gravity Thrust on the colossal sword enough. Slays everything and if you running the right set up I would argue it’s more powerful than thorns.

Glad I didn't get it on release. They have that nasty habit of making something good just to get the nerf bat right after. Cool weapons especially get that treatment. Nothing can be cool in this game and good at the same time. You either pick cool OR good. They could have gone the other way and buff less interesting stuff but no... Why giving people more choice ? In a singleplayer game too... No one cares about pvp when netcode is this bad.
My question is why do they consistently fuck over madness and it really only works in pvp it’s my favorite fire damage in the game why even include it if it’s going to get nerfed to nothingness and make items for the same type of damage in madness that doesn’t work on anything but npc humans or online players shit is redundant and is the only thing that genuinely upsets me they won’t completely fix madness

The only builds worth using are tank builds everything else gets punished hard because of long animations lack of hyper armor or damage in general. After all my years with souls games I'm fed up with their bullshit. I won't be buying another game from this overrated company again
Fun question. The patch note in your video says lightning perfume bottles and frenzy perfume bottles. Since it's so specific and didn't say "all perfume bottles", does that mean rolling sparks still work with chilling bottle? Or fully dead?
they nerfed rolling sparks and wall individually as well, which was the main thing. I guess lightning had extra damage beyond that, which did seem to be the case when I fought centipde boss with it vs fire. I though they just did less due to me not having a lot of dex even tho centipede is super weak to fire, but guess the bug also played apart.
@@PWARGaming hey, maybe you can now try a magic build. Never seen much magic outside the thorns bleed build. Maybe you can play around the carrian sovereignty ash of war or something. Or use the buffed carian sorcery sword since it has S int scale now. Can't wait your next build now that they ruined everything.
Pvp can not coexist with pve. It just cant. Same problem with destiny. New supwr good weapon, and it becomes useless in the next uodate. They need to completely separate pvp from pve with specific balancing for both.
I’m using perfumes right now and they work fine. The bug was the sparks were hitting all at once. Now it’s scattered as it should be. Which means you need to land your attacks right. Nothing was nerfed it was fixed. The build still works. Don’t understand how anyone can bitch about an unintended mechanic that’s game breaking is fixed 2 weeks after release. Plus this game has so many build variations that can clear the DLC just fine if you know how to press the dodge button.
Been using the smithscript daggers with flame art for a few days, been a lot of fun, they feel so bad now, what do you think will be the best build with them going forward? I know bleed might be good but don't they have really low bleed?

well I just 2 shot messmer with one spell they didn't touch, so they clearly missed something. but yes, just seems they search videos by view count and nerf accordingly, and for pvp there's like only 3-4 big channels to pay attention to for balancing stuff. classic "players do the testing for the devs" approach.
Don't worry. If cheese is what you want, just go with sorceries or bleed. But god forbid faith users be thrown a bone... And it wasn't even busted compared to long existing things in the game that they did not address and likely never will. Basically fuck faith users I guess but that's nothing new.

I just wanted to make your build from yesterday, got all smithscript weapons this morning and then I see that fixx. What would you say how much worse are the smithscript weapons now?
AR wise it was about a 26% difference between cirque and the backhand blades, so a pretty huge nerf. actually, I incorrectly viewed the status page, and now backhand blades with the same scaling outdamage cirque...still, for a faith setup, typically you would just go those infusions regardless, and since you can't buff smithscript weapons, thats kinda your only option. altho now if you just wanted to do just daggers, then bleed is probably still best like I had in my vampire build. I guess if you wanted to max cirque damage than you'd just go a pure dex build now maybe, since they'd reach higher scaling. it and throwing get S scaling. that was originally the plan for backhand blades using electrify armament, till I decided on sparks.

Radahn took me like 19h. But I did it with no summons and none of the cheese weapons, by far the hardest boss I’ve faced in any game. Sekiro included.

It was really only a pvp nerf. The other change I’m pretty sure was a bug that caused the weapon to do holy damage rather than fire damage.
