@@Demontera are you using the latest version of frosty? i ended up rolling back to 1.0.6.2 because it has a setting that allows you to launch thru the EA app, and it worked like a charm for me. IDK why they got rid of the launch options setting with 1.0.6.3, but if you roll back and enable it then you don't need frosty fix. what i do every time is launch frosty as administrator, then launch EA app as administrator, then launch the game thru frosty. if it doesn't launch, i force quit everything (both EA app AND the background service) and try again. if you haven't tried that then i highly recommend it, bc the 1.0.6.3 version was driving me crazy 😭 i hope this helps, and good luck!

Nice video, I always use your channel for tutorials and modding advice for DAI. I saw you have the CaffeinePainters Morrigan Hairstyle on your character. I tried everything to make that work, but sadly that mod doesn't work for me, it always get me an infinite loading screen while loading the CC menu. I use Ultra mesh and I did all the standard solution that can come up to mind. Seeing that you got it looks like magic to me. Could you be so kind to help me, or at least give me some clues?
I'm sorry for the delayed reply! This might sound really weird but try a different version of frosty. Download like a version or two older and see if that fixes it. I actually can't use a few of my mods for frosty because it's a newer version and they don't want to work together. I'd also suggest loading into the game via frosty with no mods checked off to see if you still run into the same problem if you haven't yet!
I have a recent problem with using Frosty and .dai mods, i have the game in steam and it just wont work for me, i followed a lot of tutorials but it just wont work anymore, if someone knows a solution i apreciate the help :)
Does the .daimods work without problem? It could honestly just be EA App and it's launcher being funky. I'd suggest testing to make sure just normal .daimods works to rule out game issues. And then go from there! There is also a frosty modding discord that might be helpful for frosty trouble shooting!
I do have to say I have been following your tutorials and videos for years! Thanks for the updated list as well how to mod different games using different mod managers! I have definitely upped my gameplay.
Hi. Nice mod compilaton. But i have a problem. When i start the game, its not the normal beginning. I am in an odd icy snowy Landscape... And i dont know where to go..
FYI - When using the latest version of the below files there are issues. Above the Din & Damm - It causes infinite loading when attempting to take vivienne anywhere, as well as when trying to adjust the character record or inventory. Dorian in Black will cause infinite loading if you take the In Hushed Whispers route when returning to Haven. Iron Bull - Vitaar & Piercings - Causes longer than normal loading times but works. You can find comments on nexus regarding the first two for confirmation.

let me ask a question i need help i installed dai last night after a very long time not playing for a very long time the install went fine and than i tryed launching it it says it's launching Dragon Age: Inquisition but nothing happens it says Dragon Age: Inquisition 45 minutes nothing happened all my other games work rven other bioware / ea games work so i don't know dai just hates windows 11 or the ea app does anyone know how to fix this issue ?
I love this thank you after a rebuild in my pc I can't seem to get frosty mod manager to work. I have followed some youtube video on how to fix it but seem that it still won't work. I have delete and uninstalled and reinstalled everything but my frosty mod manager keep pulling up on a handling error. So at this time I'm only running dai mod manager.
I have a question about "those eyes" the mod author say it changes all npcs eyes to the same eyes you install, but in this video that doesnt seem to be the case; is there a work around?
If you look closely their eye textures do change for everyone -- Ivy just has a vibrant eye color whereas the others are darker so it's harder to see. It's because there is only one eye texture in the game for everyone instead of a specific ones for different races/characters.
Help !!!! Hi I am trying a run through DAI and decided to give 'Ivy' a try so all mods downloaded all installed into game and I suddenly have a black face, rest of the body is fine just the face, textures are Ultra, everything is basically at Ultra and everything was fine in the beginning but exploring outside Haven suddenly black face, ideas and suggestions if you have any greatly appreciated. Oh yes, if I close the game completely and relaunch her face is normal but sometime later she again goes black.
Dark Face bug isn't really a common thing in DAI (I don't think I've ever heard of someone getting it). Are you trying to install everything with Frosty? If so that's probably it. You could also have an additional conflicting mod somewhere. If you haven't repaired your game in a while to start fresh that's also an option!

I downloaded the same enhanced character creator version as you but for whatever reason many sliders do nothing. My mesh is on ultra so I'm not entirely sure what could be the problem. I'm also running into the issue where I select a tattoo that I want and after hitting accept to start the game a bunch of other tats appear on the face.
Did you run it through .dai mod manager or frosty? If you ran it through frosty that might be the problem -- otherwise I honestly have no idea as I've never had issues using the .dai mod version of ECC. You could try back dating to I think there's one older version to see if that works.

@@FoodThenGames I didn't manage to make dAI mods work, even after merging. Frosty ones work (except the very glitchy Enhanced Character Creation) but dai ones don't convert very well for Frosty Mod Manager. The Dai tool just doesn't work too so I use an old DAI mod manager...
Nothing works well in the dlcs sadly. You’ll have to play around with what to keep. Usually speaking companion texture mods are the worst offenders for crashing them so when you get to that point if you crash get rid of those first!
The outfit that my character is wearing? That's a mod overwrites the inquisitor armour so you just craft it as normal and when you put it on the inquisitor it gives that appearance!
There's a lot I'm excited for, some things I'd like to see more on but overall looking forward to getting more information about the game as we get closer to launch!

You can 1000% use both mod types at once, this list actually utilizes both types. You could have incompatible mods between the two different types so it's causing the crashing issue. I'd suggest installing all your .daimods, then load into the game make sure it works and load in after one frosty mod at a time to see which mod is causing the issue and go from there. Also make sure you're getting the patch folder changes correctly, etc -- I have a tutorial on my channel that might help!
That sounds like a potential mod conflict or possibly a mod that's meant for a different version of frosty or it could be that you're using a .daimod and having frosty install it and it's causing issues! If you haven't yet I'd heavily suggest trying one mod at a time to see if that fixes it!
@@whoosh_angel I use Nexusmods to download the files and DAI mod manager to install them. You do have to watch out with installing both frosty and .daimod files cause there is a certain order to it but this channel has videos on that as well so you should be fine!

Soooo... EA app decided to ffff up the whole frosty moding. I'm glad that frosty fix worked for MEA for me. I hope it's gonna work for DAI.

For some reason enhanced character creation never shows up in game
If you're using the newest frosty version there are now requirements you'll need for it which is why it might not be showing!

question for the mixed mages build especially for the daggers since I'm using them, how did you get the schematic to appear in game for you?
They’ll be in the mage staff section not the dagger section! Also I feel like there was an extra file to download for it!

Both! Ivy & Genevieve are frosty and Riley is a .dai mod.

Do your modlist work well all across the game and DLCs? I had to reinstall yesterday bc my (very old) modlist crashed in The Descent.

There are no animation change mods currently that I know of.

Modding feels so restrictive in DA:I compared to Skyrim. There aren't even any proper body or face replacer mods for NPCs.
