Dude how many days are going to go by without you uploading a video? I’m unsubbing. I’m sure plenty of others are too. It’s been nearly two weeks now that you haven’t uploaded a video. People subscribe to channels because they want to see the person’s content and not to just forget they exist and then see a video from them far in the future. I think you’re making a big mistake by not uploading at MINIMUM once a week. Good luck I guess but I’m not staying subbed to a dead channel or a UA-camr who doesn’t care about his audience and doesn’t care to update them on why he’s not there
Against barrier champs, this is actually a nice roll. Getting +500% damage to barriers with a fast firing scout shreds barriers. Terrible for doing damage, but when used as a tool it's good.
Ah now i understand why a friend absolutely refused to help clean out a vault. At the time i didnt know anything at all about mods, perks, god rolls, or even red borders. Also wasted so much space on ships, sparrows and ghosts. Jus noticed I'm back at 597 and this is the first video on my feed
it is a sign go vault clean general rules of thumb: - anything 1600 = shard [barring stupid high kill count/sentimental stuff; or experimental guns for pve/pvp] - anything not used in 3 months minimum = shard [again, barring the above] - any armor with less than 60 total stats = shard [screw stat spikes, that is the minimum you should be looking for, I'd advocate to look for 65 or higher, but armor has been weird the past few seasons] - any duplicate guns = shard [having 1 roll for pve and 1 roll for pvp is fine] - any duplicate exotics = figure out which one has the better stat spread for the build you are using it on, shard the extra(s) [guns that have multiple rolls see the duplicate guns rule] - red boarder weapon = finish the catalyst then shard
@@beitrix sometimes it all comes down to weapon feel, like the barrels and the ammo mags I’ll go for a faster reload and as snappy as can be for all my guns, just save some rolls of a certain gun and play around with them and keep what feels good, I’ll also try and see what content creators that play like I play and see what they use, I like movement so I check what SayWallahBruh and TDT use. Archer's Tempo is pretty much a must on any bow you want to use in pvp. Successful Warm-up is good but only in combination with Archer's Tempo to get that 1st ttk down in order to even proc the 2nd perk.
@@micah_up Even with perfect draw time the follow up shot is much faster with archer's tempo. That perk goes below the min drawtime threshold. Of course you'll need a fast reload stat or loader mods to fully capitalize on it. Damage perks are mostly not in the same collumn as archer's tempo and accuracy does nothing on lightweight bows. It's all about high AA stat with these.
Yes, but ONLY if the random roll you have can be recreated with crafting. For example, Age-Old Bond had its perks tweaked a good bit. I have an original TTT/Dragonfly roll that can't be crafted because those perks are now in the same column. The curated roll is another one that can't be recreated via crafting. Same with the BxR Battle Rifle, which lost Snapshot and Rangefinder once it became craftable.
Keep away Golden is such a good roll on Igneous. Golden can two tap on 120's and with keep away you can map people. Its the roll Jake uses and it can get pretty insane.
PvP players really just don’t care for pve much. Like since d1 it never hit the same and I lost interest in it personally. Plus feels way more like killing ai enemies than d1 did
yeah it's been free eats the past two years with how many red borders they throw at you, literally just playing the game gets you them and you never know what will be good in the future

29:00 cascade is still great! Run 6v6 or Free for all with a fusion and it rips people apart. Definitely not for fry Harding but super fun to mess around with.
Speaking of bad rolls, I was matched with someone in a Strike yesterday who was guardian rank 9, using a Kept Confidence, non crafted, non masterworked, shot-swap/gutshot straight roll, with 8 thousand kills. Do they know something I don’t?
It was the most confused guardian I’ve ever seen, so much so that it must have been a troll. Kepri’s Horn on a Void sub, with fully masterworked armour, but with a total of ~30 resilience but maxed out mobility, that craftable stasis hakke rocket launcher, but with auto loading and chain reaction (not the worst, but weird) and no special ammo secondary.
I totally get what Datto is saying when it comes to things like the sound turning you off when it comes to using a weapon. I absolutely will not use a weapon that I don't like the sound, aesthetic,or especially the reticle of.
I have looked at the ritual weapons so little that I didn’t know the 4 origin traits were shaped like that. I thought they listed out in 1 column still
Goldtusk is craftable, just turn in engrams at the War Table (Recovered Leviathan Weapons). Just make sure to do it before The Final Shape. p.s. the swords are class specific, so you need to do it for each of them separately, if you care.
@@smtnbad, Bungie needs to fix this crap. Absolutely ridiculous at this point. The drop rate for red borders on these swords is ass. Have my Goldtusk and only 3 for the Warlock. Have never got one for the Titan. Please Bungie, fix these horrible drop rates.
Because they're just not very efficient in endgame pve, even in GMs, why run a legendary when ticcus and hierarchy exist. The only reason you'd run a legendary bow and sacrifice your damage and ability to kill anything in a timely manner is if your exotic slot was filled and you need it to stun champs, and there is not a great deal of competition between exotic primaries and special/heavy exotics so why even bother doing that in the first place. It's just not good, and I've tried this thing in multiple GMs over the past two seasons with and without seasonal mods, and it has no benefit when I could just put on any exotic bow and clear the room twice as fast
Now that adaptive munitions is basically a useless perk, I’d love to see the perk change to give you a weapon affinity matching your subclass. It would be really strong, so I don’t think they’ll do it, but it at least shouldn’t be useless
I know!!! Once new light comes out explosive payload will be fixed, but slide/open is what I use and it is really damn good pretty sure it’s the best possible roll atm. Was t sure of the mag and barrel but steady rounds is actually good too with all the extra range you get from the perks

The shield is the most important part of using a glaive (in normal content you can stab away but not in GM or day one raids), and demo is cool for grenade energy but the main reason we want demo is to NOT reload the glaive. In normal content with enhanced demo you don't ever have to reload as 5 kills gets your grenade back. Reloading is the con of glaives. Lastly Frenzy is an S tier pick for both a damage boost and a reload boost. Always use frenzy when you can. The best glaives for harder content are adaptive frames due to high shield duration, and in my opinion the best glaive over all is Nezerec's Whisper crafted to have max shield duration, enhanced demo, and enhanced frenzy. I did the corrupted GM last week with fireteam finder and this thing 100% is why we didn't get sent to orbit multiple times lol. I want to add that most glaives (adaptive) are really good, so while I might prefer one over the other for specific reasons they are actually all pretty close. For lower end content/at light/normal content Close to Melee glaives are a lot of fun. Eliptic distaff is really freaking good on void builds and the option of close to melee if that's what you want, my favorite glaive for lower end content is Judgement of kelgorath as it hits a tad harder for majors and with demo you get grenades back quickly, but epileptic is amazing. Sorry for the book, I just love me some glaives.
I saw a lot of craftable weapons that weren't crafted but you can get those patterns for free. Just pick up the seasonal artifact from this years seasons and you'llget loads of engrams for them while you play pvp. Also, I'd recommend keeping your eyes peeled for a marcato 45 with demo + hatchling to replace your circular logic.
Yeah that’s a mark V combo below and a 1x12 recto cab with v30 on top. On top of the cab is actually a Bose speaker. But I do have both an axe fx ii xl+ and recently bought an FM9 and absolutely love it!
Seeing people with completely full vaults of gear blow my mind. I either ain't playing nearly enough or the absolute SHITE drop rate I suspected is reality.
I watch these videos hoping to find tips or at least inspiration for cleaning my own vault (currently at 590), but I don't think any of my rolls are this crappy...I must just have good rolls on crappy guns...or (and?) too much armor... In any case, this video still makes for an entertaining watch, and hopefully I'm subconsciously building the willpower to dismantle a bunch of stuff.
Nezerecs whisper is the best glaive in the game when craftable too, and he said it got power crept, but glaives for most people are meh sooo who cares I guess.

I’ve farmed hundreds of roses and not once got one as good as the one he deleted I’m so dead inside. I farm 6-7 per week and only get vorpal almost every time
I don't know if this is an issue for most people, but I feel like I'm really good about keeping my vault squeaky clean, not since the early days of destiny have I had a full vault 😂
He is saying that if you are getting target lock to proc on an enemy in PVE, then you should be using a special or heavy weapon to kill that enemy. Primaries are used for quick add clear on trash mobs, not for whittling down a major. Each to their own and if you like it go for it, but Datto is saying there are more optimal ways to play

You might like it, but it is absolutely garbage in pve, just go get a primary with frenzy and benefit from free damage, max handling and max reload if you're going to try and stick with a target lock weapon
I can kind of understand it, especially for people who are on the game as much as they are stuff tends to change in weird intervals; at minimum its every week with the TWID [you never know what they'll buff that doesn't need buffing, or nerf what is already shit], or it could be a once in a blue moon [big updates to PvE (DLC) or PvP (what they are doing right now)] so, having a collection that you can fall back on [and easily restock] is sort of needed
@@lt3880 it isn't about not caring; we do care...but sometimes you just fill up your vault with stuff because you aren't sure in the moment you get it whether it will be worth while keeping. not everyone in the community knows what rolls are good, or even agrees with the content creators on what rolls are good. they pick guns regardless of rolls due to how to feels or how good of a job it is doing X thing.
i would have kept the 1810s to infuse with the rest of the vault. You probably get more pinnacles than me lol. Until It's Return auto-loading+cascade goes hard on double special builds.
i could see BnS on Supremacy being good with something like Dragon's Breath considering that you fire and switch off of it for the reload but the gen with that is a no go
Bait and switch is nothing compared to kinetic tremors on supremacy, the 35% for BnS gets beaten 1/3rd by kinetic for total damage and DPS and doesn't require activation criteria

Eliptic distaff is really freaking good on void builds and the option of close to melee if that's what you want, my favorite glaive for lower end content is Judgement of kelgorath as it hits a tad harder for majors and with demo you get grenades back quickly, but epileptic is amazing.

IMO frenzy is the best perk in the game for pve just overall
I saw a lot of craftable weapons that weren't crafted but you can get those patterns for free. Just pick up the seasonal artifact from this years seasons and you'llget loads of engrams for them while you play pvp.
Also, I'd recommend keeping your eyes peeled for a marcato 45 with demo + hatchling to replace your circular logic.
I got one with demo onslaught it’s not ammo efficient but it’s so fun

Yeah that’s a mark V combo below and a 1x12 recto cab with v30 on top. On top of the cab is actually a Bose speaker. But I do have both an axe fx ii xl+ and recently bought an FM9 and absolutely love it!

I watch these videos hoping to find tips or at least inspiration for cleaning my own vault (currently at 590), but I don't think any of my rolls are this crappy...I must just have good rolls on crappy guns...or (and?) too much armor... In any case, this video still makes for an entertaining watch, and hopefully I'm subconsciously building the willpower to dismantle a bunch of stuff.

@@edward_the_brucebecause it did get power crept, no close to melee, and no overflowing perks/utility perks, it's not worth having. Even in PvP the trails glaive surpasses it
@@sydious_s_snake The shield is the most important part of using a glaive (in normal content you can stab away but not in GM or day one raids), and demo is cool for grenade energy but the main reason we want demo is to NOT reload the glaive. In normal content with enhanced demo you don't ever have to reload as 5 kills gets your grenade back. Reloading is the con of glaives. Lastly Frenzy is an S tier pick for both a damage boost and a reload boost. Always use frenzy when you can.
The best glaives for harder content are adaptive frames due to high shield duration, and in my opinion the best glaive over all is Nezerec's Whisper crafted to have max shield duration, enhanced demo, and enhanced frenzy. I did the corrupted GM last week with fireteam finder and this thing 100% is why we didn't get sent to orbit multiple times lol.
I want to add that most glaives (adaptive) are really good, so while I might prefer one over the other for specific reasons they are actually all pretty close.

I’ve farmed hundreds of roses and not once got one as good as the one he deleted I’m so dead inside. I farm 6-7 per week and only get vorpal almost every time

I *like* Target Lock in primaries because its easier to lock onto and kill enemies in PvE than it is in PvP, Datto ;_;
He is saying that if you are getting target lock to proc on an enemy in PVE, then you should be using a special or heavy weapon to kill that enemy. Primaries are used for quick add clear on trash mobs, not for whittling down a major. Each to their own and if you like it go for it, but Datto is saying there are more optimal ways to play

You might like it, but it is absolutely garbage in pve, just go get a primary with frenzy and benefit from free damage, max handling and max reload if you're going to try and stick with a target lock weapon

Can confirm tyranny of heaven cooks (6k on it, 350 on ticcus and 118 on hierarchy) but in anything outside of on level content it can’t hang
I genuinely don't understand how people fill up their vaults, the most I have is exotic weapons, craftable weapons and event weapons
I can kind of understand it, especially for people who are on the game as much as they are
stuff tends to change in weird intervals; at minimum its every week with the TWID [you never know what they'll buff that doesn't need buffing, or nerf what is already shit], or it could be a once in a blue moon [big updates to PvE (DLC) or PvP (what they are doing right now)]
so, having a collection that you can fall back on [and easily restock] is sort of needed

i could see BnS on Supremacy being good with something like Dragon's Breath considering that you fire and switch off of it for the reload but the gen with that is a no go
Bait and switch is nothing compared to kinetic tremors on supremacy, the 35% for BnS gets beaten 1/3rd by kinetic for total damage and DPS and doesn't require activation criteria
