Hi I'm Deano from England 🇬🇧 UK. I own a 2022 smart Eq forfour Exclusive model its absolutely lovely fully spect But I'm not able to use home charging. I rely on public fast charging taking me about 40 minutes to go from 20% to 100% also iv driven one so gently that I was able to achieve 102 miles distance / range in warm weather so exceeding the official figures. I don't allow its tiny Battery to limit me to only town driving here in the UK. If I want to go from town to town with a lot of motorway 🛣 driving or highways as you call them, we can drive 200 miles in 1 day with 2 Rapid charge pit stops at about 60 miles and have a comfort break cup of Tea . 🍵 so this car I make sure it takes me long range and local because I plan ahead for charges its comfortable and nippy so it exceeding most of what these reviews say about the Smart Eq with its tiny battery. Your have to be brave and Adventurous
I'd love an hybrid version of this car. I was considering this car but the radius is so small. It should be at least 300km even for a city car. Especially when it's an ev.
The biggest problem for me is lack of CCS dc charging port. We have plentiful ccs chargers but very few type 2 and then who is going to wait 3 hours for 70 miles on a 7kw charger.

Unfortunately Smart has moved to an only EV architecture. Better range will come in a few years

You must be in a situation where a larger is required
I have a 2018 Electric Smart in Texas with 5,300 miles,I want a New one so do you think the USA will get them back .
