- CORRECTION: it's John Green whom Emily is responding to. Not Hank. But, if they're anything like me and Emily, they are very accustomed to people confusing them for each other, so I apologize and hope (AKA have reason to believe it's possible) they're not offended.
@feministsurvivalproject6481 responded to @vlogbrothers with an alternative to hope, for those of us who can't even. I have another suggestion, based on the evidence of @BrandSanderson , Harry Dresden, and SCIENCE!
I wrote a comment on Emily's Substack earlier today thanking her for how validating it was to hear that someone else's bird was broken because mine's been dead since I was 6. 😔 & now I want to thank you, Amelia, for giving me one more crucial piece of the puzzle, because sadly faith has not done me much better than hope ever did ... but pledging myself to love, well that just makes my heart swell in the way that only (Jasnah's kind of) truth ever does. 🙏💖
Thank you. I found your burnout book at the beginning of my Audhd journey. I had already been dx with ADHD in the early part of the pandemic. I came to understand that I had been fully smashed to bits by the pandemic and that I was in complete ND burnout. I only then began to understand my Autism. Your burnout videos provided me with clear info rooted in science that I found very grounding. I appreciate your videos and feel excited when you post a new one. I also really like your sister's work too and have one of her sexual health books.

I feel like yes, there has been something that might have been hope that broke some time ago, but yes, i have been going on - building my bubble of love around people. Won't argue on wether that's been faith or love or nothing at all, but, yes. Thank you for making me think about it!
