Are you asking how to get inside the car? Try another door Are you asking how to remove the door panel from the locked door? You will find that on most cars the attaching points for the door panel can be removed from sitting inside the car. Ensure that you remove all rubber trim inside (surrounding door opening) also to give you more space. This was easy to do on a Chevy Equinox.
I've had that problem, I held my doorhandle up, while prying the latch open, and got lucky, it fixed it. Lightly greased it up, and it hasn't failed since.
@ApacheRanch I have, too, but the average person probably can't even do that. I was curious if there was a better way to service the door, is all. I am still learning. I hate newer cars. Older cars are easier to deal with, to me, they are.

I had my back door get stuck in the open position. I leaned the latch and slammed it. It finally closed, but that door has been closed for a couple years now 😂
Ok.. on how many cars is this relevant to? because I own a volvo and I don't know if this is the same as the Chrysler you might have pulled this off of **shrug** Nice nugget of information though

Now you can completely replace the whole unit or you can just keep doing this over and over and over again every time you wanna get inside your car, but remember you're going to have to use another door to get in the car to do this ...
I once had to remove a door panel to fix a stuck door. The question to fix it made me cringe. I went at it with 100% failure in mind & wouldn't you know... I had that panel off and door opened in 5 minutes. Everyone, especially me, was amazed. No. I do not ever wish to be challenged on this ever again
I tried to replace a headlight switch on my jeep and thought " I'll have it out in 5 minutes" it took me 2 hours because of how many things were layered over that switch. 15 panels had to come off for 1 switch
Cool, so how am I supposed to get inside my door panel if I can't open my door because it's locked?
Try getting inside the car using one of the other doors. They don’t typically all get stuck like this at the same time. Thanks for your comment.

Just curious, if you just tried to open the door and it won't open, locked or unlocked, how do you get it open to assess anything???
I climbed in the other side and then pulled the door panel off so I could work on the stuck door. Thanks for your comment.
