2007-2013 Chevrolet Tahoe, Silverado, Sierra Door won’t OPEN from inside or outside? Here’s the fix!

The drivers door on my wife’s ‘13 Tahoe wouldn’t open. There are several videos on your e describing ways to “fix” this. My issue wasn’t any of these so I wanted to share the problem I found and how I fixed it.

Thank you for posting. My PS door has that hole covered (similar to the DS door hole), but doesn't have a key access there. Do you happen know if I can install a key lock on the passenger door, which doesn't have one? I have an extra cylinder lock, but it is for the DS, since the car is designed w/only one key lock on the driver side.

When you showed the part u didn't point to what I needed to pull push on the cable wire? Underneath it? Or the part on the right

The lever I spoke about is the part with the yellow clamp on it.
