anyone else get those feeling of nostalgia, happiness and sadness every time they hear FFXI soundtracks like this one? They say "Don't be sad that is over, be happy that it happen". Man... I would do ANYTHING to bring those good old days back, but all I have is just that, memories of the past, in my memories' museum.

This game, due to its quality and the devotion required to enjoy it at release, created some permanent emotional anchors for me. This video is a great idea, and with the gentle ambience it proves a superior choice to most of the extended soundtrack clips I browse. I haven't checked your other offerings, yet, but the same type of video with BGM+ambient from other areas would be most welcome. I recommend Sanctuary of Zi'tah and Mhaura... no bias there. ;) Thanks for posting this.

I still miss this game. I played in 2003-2004. I wound up having to let it go because I didn't have time for it for quite a while and then never got back into it. The music, the fireworks during events, people selling things on the side of the road... the game just had so much personality.
Depending on server the bazaar was either in batallia or rolanberry. When the tax removed inside Jueno, the bazaars moved inside the city. On my server its in Port Jeuno these days. Still lots of bazaars despite the smaller population playing.
I remember riding the Airship just to hear the music, or be AFK in Sanctuary of Zi'tah just to relax after work. I miss those day's of being in an LS and going on a weekend adventure.
Airship rides were like 20 odd minutes too lmao. Spend the whole time trying to glitch off the edge of the ship or stand in places you weren't intended to be.

Ahhhh the gold old days! The sound of leveling SMN skill and being examined by people zoning in/out of Jeuno while waiting for a Crawler's Nest party....Erase was highly valuable from the main heal and coffer hunting was right a round the corner. Yes, I miss these days.

Rolanberry Field was a highway back in 2003 to lvl in the Crawler's Nest. I dont remember what lvl that was, but you used to start right in the zone and you ended deep inside a huge underground dome. It was before heading to the Boyahda Tree.
it usually happened after you finished Garliadge Citadel (somewhere around 32-36), optimal level was 36 or 37 I believe and that is where to fought crawlers. The lower parts was in the 40's which was also the time you farmed exorays for their shells for limit break. And then at ~50, you went far into for stronger beetles to level to if other camps were filled. So there was essentially 3 camps, 1 for regular crawlers, one for the soldier crawlers, and another camp for mostly beetles. By the time I leveled much, ToAU came out though, and that completely changed the leveling zones and level syncing made it so that I don't go too far when leveling.

Is this the entrance to the night crawler cave? I remember spending weeks and months trying to level over from lvl 30 to 40 until they update abyss and people just sit in party until lvl 75 in abyss.
