I really appreciate your attention to detail in teaching both the how and the why. I am technically not a beginner, but I am beginning again with more attention to my body and what it can do. Oh my goodness, I literally feel the same way and am in the same spot! I got injured a few days before Christmas as I was doing high knees as part of a new challenge and backed into my loveseat whilst not wearing shoes and completely turned my foot inside out. Here's hoping to a speedy healing process for both of us so we can keep doing what we love. :)

This one was so good! I have bad knees, so it's a little hard for me to do the more intense lower body workouts, but this was so helpful. I will lean on this (and other) workouts in this series because I know how helpful they will be for me. This lower body one will help me go at slow pace and build up the areas around my knees so I can strengthen them. I'm so excited to finally address my lower body. Thanks again Chris for helping us and getting us through to the next level. 😘
I finished day 3 and I'm ready to take on the day! I am still recovering from a herniated disk surgery in my L4-L5. The nerve was pinched for several days so I've lost an incredible amount mobility and still slowly regaining feeling in my right lower extremities. I was rocking step classes before and I've found myself starting over. And That's ok cause I'm learning all these moves and how to do them correctly and safely. I'm grateful for you Chris and what you bring to this community. Step classes have brought me out of some dark times. Thank you for this start-up challenge!

Love the focus on form - though I've been working out for a while, this program is good for me to make sure I've been doing things correctly and in a way to derive the most benefit! I loved this as it reaffirms the use of correct form and posture and alignment that perhaps sometimes goes out the window, so a great way to check back in with your body and ensure everything is where it needs to be. A lot of personal trainers at the gym I go to would do well to follow this programme, their form is horrendous and in turn never correct who they’re training. Thanks Chris.

These workouts are awesome for everyone. It gets me in check for my form. it’s always good to go back to basics. For any new person starting out, Chris is great in how she explains the workout and making sure your form is I check etc. My other goal is getting up in the early AM to workout before work. I got away from that so these classes being that they are 30 mins or less is really helping me with this goal and getting back into a routine. As always thanks Chris!! ❤

I lift regularly and thought going back to basics without weights would feel like nothing but I was wrong, especially when we did lunges. My right quads were burning. I definitely think I need to do more mobility. Thanks for the support.
