Ms. Carling is without a doubt one of the most talented musicians I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. Great vocalist too!
First time a see this wonderful group and I already love them.
amazing how the young people are into the old american songbook songs.
the mother (Gunhild herself) is about age 50. Her mom plays often with them as well, but not in this one.
So good to see the young folk taking an interest in real music.
I love gunhild she keeps the spark in. Her songs. + she’s very very talented. Can’t enough. I see her husband playing bass. One can’t help but love her.
No matter what language Idun sings in its all beautiful. Fantastic and unique. 👍

I'm trying to count up the number of instruments Gunhild plays. 1. Cornet 2. Trumpet 3.Trombone 4.Recorder 5. Bagpipes 6.Piano 7. Harmonica 8. Harp 9. Oboe 10. Flute 11. Drums 12. Ukelele 13. Double bass 14. Sudrophone 15. Medieval instruments. There are probably several others that I don't know about. All the family seem to play a minimum of three instruments each. Remarkable talent in one family.

@@vincelahorra Yep. Gotta remember, I suppose, that mainly they're hard working 'troupers', as once upon a time they'd be called. 'On the stage'. 'Performers'.
Meaning something a bit different to dedicated musicians, isn't it? Not happy to simply stay at home but willing and keen to get out and present their music and themselves to the world.
So I guess they just talk about their job in practical terms: 'well you got to show a bit of leg, the public expects it' and so on. Look at Gunhild herself - exhibitionist 'flowery' isn't she? Totally flamboyant, exuberant outgoing personality - totally show business.
So I ought to stop knocking them for what they do that is distinct from their music because they're doing their thing: show business, not just my thing: pleasing (to me) musicianship.
And talking talent, don't they have it! World leaders. I would like it if they had a blog or something where they talked about all the hard work and nitty gritty of their whole scene. :)
You know, the image of two semi naked do men trying to keep their knees together while not falling of chairs and playing their hearts out as men just wear not mal clothes snd don’t give a funk is not terribly inspiring for the 21st century.

These ladies are all class, notice they are wearing hosiery which makes their legs look properly finished, and Shapley, there is nothing wrong with ladies looking pretty from their head to their toes, and then there is the amount of great talent all the musicians have either!
