      @@theAIsearchthinking of doing these things from long time, now it became reality, do you know deep state already had these technologies.
      also I think Elon is becoming puppet of the deep state, either he is getting fooled by deep state or he is with them, inserting chip like this into all human being means deep state will control everyone through the help of AI and cool thing is now people will be punished and feel the same pain that i do, But one thing that will get different is they will kill all the human operators that they are currently using and replace them with AI to tighten the loose ends, even my operators are afraid of this haha.

      most likely not too bad for the brain tissue. The needles are inserted lot more carefully than the Utah array for example, which is known to puncture small blood vessels, which causes quite a lot of degradation locally.
      But the device is under very bad conditions, so I see zero chance this would last more than 10 years. Most likely only a few years. Depending on the risk/benefit ratio, he may have requested a free upgrade to the next version when this one fails.
      For very high benefit cases like this one, the implant basically only has to last as long as they come out with the next better version. Undergoing the surgery every few years would be probably still better than not having the implant.

    • @theyellowarchitect4504
      @theyellowarchitect4504 2 місяці тому

      With so much money invested, and certain "interests" to promote this, you won't hear any negatives (like you don't see anything negative about chips for credit card replacements)
      But the disadvantages are obvious.
      Prosthetic arms for example, "expire" because the neural endpoint degrades (and you have to cut one inch deeper to get fresh/working/active endpoint)
      Something else to note is that electric currency passing through a wire produces a (tiny) electromagnetic field. Having that on your brain will definitely be damaging in the long-term, kinda like mercury hats of 1900s and wireless earbuds of today (no1 cares/cared about either since the results weren't/arent easily reproducible)
      Ah also, neuralink using windows is clownworld. Like, your brain directly connecting to windows... Years ago this would sound like something straight out of a creepypasta.

    • @adamrak7560
      @adamrak7560 2 місяці тому

      @@theyellowarchitect4504 you are very very off about your facts regarding the electromagnetic fields. Nerve tissue produces significant electric currents in the brain naturally (significant compared to biology). I know that because I have literally measured my own brain with device I have built. The magnetic part of the field is hard to measure, it is small, you need special sensors for that, but that electric parts are easily measurable with home build circuits through the skull if you know how. And the skull is quite a good insulator and electric shield.
      The electromagnetic effects of the implant are negligible compared to the biochemical reactions going around it. Chemical optimization of the electrode is the most important part, because it literally rots away in the harsh conditions.

    • @theyellowarchitect4504
      @theyellowarchitect4504 2 місяці тому

      @@adamrak7560 I can't see how I am wrong. Anything which has electricity passing through it (e.g. wire) has a tiny electromagnetic field by default.
      Man has an electromagnetic field as well (torus shape) because as you too noticed, electricity flows through the entire body.
      >The electromagnetic effects of the implant are negligible compared to the biochemical reactions going around it.
      "Negligible" is false if you are exposed for years in a row. Also your skull is a good insulator, sure, but that didn't stop deterioration from mercury hats in 1900s, nor earbuds today. And it won't stop this now either, because neuralink's electric components bypass the skull (geez, as if the design of man was against brain intervention)
      Btw what I wrote originally about the endpoint of a neuron, is for limbs, not the brain.

    It's easy for those who are lucky enough not to have some major life-changing disability to oppose these technological advancements. But who are we to deny those suffering from these conditions the opportunity to benefit, just to satisfy our own misplaced self-righteousness? Advancements like this will enable people like this young man, and millions more, to potentially regain the ability to walk and move independently. Do you doubt that individuals like him understand the risks involved? Many of them have lost hope in life, and this offers them a glimmer of hope. It's not science fiction. With the integration of the latest advancements in robotics and AI, the only thing missing is a human brain interface. I say when it comes to things like this we are lucky to live in these times. It's good to have a choice.

      I would say it's easier for those who have some kind of problem, whether mental or physical. They have nothing to lose, boy, other than dying. They are not worried about technology advancing uncontrollably. An analogy is that many people complain about their "first world" problems, when there are other people dying of hunger or whatever. Well, the first people are asked more than the second people. Therein lies the difference. If there were no people dying of hunger, they would have to face other types of problems. This is exactly the same. It's a conflict of interest.
