She didn’t “voluntarily” sign them over. She signed the agreement CPS makes parents sign when they decide to take kids. It’s considered “voluntary” if they agree with the orders CPS brings to them. It’s still “involuntary” in that they will tell the parents “you can sign this agreement and work with us and get them back much sooner, or we can take them against your will and this will be a years long battle…” Now that they’re in foster care, nobody who has the kids can speak about it, so she can lie and say whatever and nobody will be allowed to refute it. Those poor kids. 😫
I had my daughter at home in the bathroom by myself, and she still has her birth certificate, SSN/CARD. Now, my ambulance bill was 12k to go .7m from my house to the hospital. Also, if my child doesn't have insurance, i would definitely have been at a free clinic or somewhere to get help for my child who is really sick. I take my kids to the urgent care over a rash.
I can't imagine how I'd be able to function with 12 kids...so I DIDN'T have 12 kids! She doesn't need even 1!! And...no insurance on the kids? No Medicaid? All she had to do was apply!
We lost our birth certificates/SS cards in a flood, we got replacements within a few months. How do you just… not get a birth certificate or SS card for your child, especially when said child is critically ill and needs treatment??

You can also probably do it all online so COVID is no excuse. I tried to homeschool my daughter in 5th grade. It was a matter of necessity since we were military and getting ready to move out of country and they had sent her to another school district that wasn’t fabulous. Let me tell you , I thought I was either gonna jump out the window or throw my kid out of it. It was hell. I’m not qualified to teach children’s schooling. And I’m a nurse. I’m educated. What the hell is this girl teaching her kids ? It’s frightening.
There's been a lot of concern about her suitability since D got sick and she left Marty. But based on her own story, she's never been a source of stability sadly.
She lives in a home that was meant to be torn down. She’s always unkempt, the house is unkempt and makes zero effort to care for her children in a reasonable manner.
I don't believe for one second that she gave the kids to CPS voluntarily. It's probably more like, she overdosed for some reason and CPS came and took the kids. I for one can't stand her, she is the worst so called Mom I have ever seen.
100% it takes a lot for CPS to take kids, her overdosing going into the ambulance, cops see the kids, they call CPS, at that point CPS will contact family first then friends then go to strangers.
She's got all but the youngest 4 back now, and now marvelous has a broken arm. Granted, it happened in school. But only a month into their first year in real school and she never gave them her phone number or emergency contact number and they had a hard time getting ahold of her. So she blamed the school nurse saying she should have medicated him or called an ambulance. The school was at fault in her mind bc they made him sit there in pain, she said. It couldn't have been her own fault for not providing the school with her phone number. They finally got ahold of her with an e mail. So she makes a video of herself going to get a RX for martalya bc she has strep and talking about her sons arm. Saying she can't believe that one is hurt and one is sick the very same day, and dropping the f bomb. Out of 12 kids, two with a problem in one day put her over the edge. I'd hate to see what she'd do if they were all sick at the same time. Like maybe her and all the kids with the RONA . What on earth would she do then? Lol
Yellow is jaundice which means liver failure and not kidney though of she had dialysis she probably had multiple system failure. Tylenol is processed through the liver and products like advil through the kidney. She probably was taking Tylenol with percocet that has opiate drug and Tylenol. That is common and my suspicion.
This is what I always thought too. She was taking opioids with Tylenol. You have to take a load of Tylenol to OD on that. If she had no opioid tolerance, it would be a lot easier to OD. Opioids are mostly processed through your liver and through your bowels, therefore she could take them without any kidney issues.
They do, it's actually pretty common. Usually due to medical or psychiatric needs that can't be met by the parent or behavioral issues that pose a danger to other children in the home.. But that's clearly not what happened here.
They absolutely do! And as far as her hallucinating, when you’re in liver failure and jaundice like she is I’m sure she was having HE episodes. I’m sure her ammonia levels were extremely high!
I've seen a situation where one kid was taken and the other left with the parents. Nothing had actually been happening with the parents; was just the inlaws trying to claim the eldest kid out of pettiness. They pulled it off, too. NGL made me very paranoid about such things.

Just a theory but maybe when she surrendered D to the state as a last resort (or doctors got cps involved?) to get him medical help, cps checked on all the kids, possibly finding out more information about what Marty has done as well as the condition they have been living in. Then when they were taken from her she purposely overdosed and has completely lost the plotI’m hopeful that wherever those kids are that they’re safe and being looked after. It may seem harsh but I have no sympathy for her. She’s a terrible person and gives zero *beep* about those kids.

Million dollar question. I think It's a combination of things. Her health, post partum depression, being overwhelmed as a single parent, not having positive adult role models to help her, laziness/avoidance
Best decision she made for the kids is letting cps help especially when your in a hospital bed you can't expect your oldest to take care of the youngest daily.
6-8 months is standard foster care time frame IF a parent does every single thing ordered in the family plan from the day the kids are taken. She will not get them back in 6-8 mos. She won’t even be able to start working on the plan until she’s home and stable. It’ll be much longer than that.

how do you not get a birth certificate for that long, I had my driver's license expring and was panicking about that. I'm 30 years old, was recently sick with a fever for a week. my mother gave me the tylenol no more t hen 6 in 24 hours, it says it right on the bottle. We all know it was a purposeful OD. I honestly think it was a mix of Donnie missing medical appointments plus her ex's recent arrest for child SA FINALLY kick started a proper investigation, then the medical event happened and they moved fast.
I’ve had so many emotions and thoughts as this has unfolded. As a therapist I see a woman who needs a lot of help. As someone who suffers from mental health issues I feel for her and see her spiraling. As a mother I am absolutely appalled by her “parenting” and the suffering her children have been subjected to. Also, my heart breaks for those children. We don’t even know that they are “better off” because we have all heard the foster care horror stories. This is such a mess. As much as we don’t want the children exploited I wish there was a way for us to know that they are safe/okay.

A overdose of Tylenol is a pretty brutal thing. She might very well still need a liver transplant and is either in denial about it or doesn't realize it
I really do think it was intentional. But I can understand why she wouldn't admit it, it will be much harder to her kids back. I don't think the CPS believes her regardless, hence the removal.
She is delusional. Poor Donnie deserves better care and so do the other children. Giving them up voluntary or not she likley won't see them again as her 'home' was slovenly, no heath insurance for the child (but has it for herself) and just no effort on her part to educate or meet the childrens basic needs. So, I know someone will explain this better, but with the fact she almost off herself, she will not be getting her kids back for a while and they'll probably be pulled out of the temporary homes to more suitable homes and unfortunately she will not see them until she gets clean clean and prove to the state she is a fit parent to take her kids. And that's if they will see her as a fit parent because she almost off herself and if the meds she took to off her self isn't what she claims on the tiktok. The state has the real files and they know what she did. So if she lies here, then it's sucks for those kids. I'm glad they saved her life but she won't see her kids because she is a danger to those kids.
Unfortunately, that seems to be the case. She will have a brutal uphill battle trying to get them back before a year and these tiktoks aren't helping her imo. Her anti-community has been trying to get CPS involved for years. Now they are. I hope that she'll use this year to get herself sorted and in a much better place.
@cursedreact I do to. But everything is stacked against her right now. And I know any family anti-community will always scream CPS(I dont) but when it does happens it's like see we told you. But no one wins when the kids are taken. And the worst is now those kids will see her differently now. And the talk with SA on the little girls and the oldest girl....that's a whole conversation and a half. Now they belong to the state, so whatever those kids says, it will be taken as truth and thus a downhill slope.

Now, also keep in mind, they now have the right to break down their home door and begin the home investigation. And given her state of home in real life and in the tiktoks will give them the best idea to go forward with charges and potential jailtime(?) For now we will see what happens now. I do hope to they give them the help the kids they need.
She's already got the 8 oldest back and is trying to get the r youngest . It will be harder to get them back because of the lead issue and now that shes about to be homeless bur still refuses to work she may lose the older 8 again.
Weird, my son was approved for government health insurance during my pregnancy. I also walked into the county registry office and purchased 4 original birth certificates. I received them within 10 days of purchase. Not sure why she’s making a big deal about getting D’s paperwork
Births need to be reported within 10 days, usually. He was born at home with no record of birth submitted by her or by a medical professional. She needs to go to court. She might need to provide proof of the pregnancy and a witness to provide testimony of the birth, so he can be registered.
My granny was two years older than her when she had her first child how did my granny with a 9th grade education in the1920s had all my aunts and uncles my mom included 11 kids all together at home and all of them have birth certificates
I’m to believe she couldn’t get his paperwork for four years but will in six months? Yikes and she has to know she will need to have her shot together for the others to come home. Like her home, food supplies and all the needs of the kids. Then she won’t have the funds from the state without the kids in her care to do so. She might as well say goodbye to her kids now. Wow... Just... WOW. I really don't know much about This Mad Mama other than when I've seen your videos.... I'm literally speechless. I don't even know where to start. As someone who was SA'd for 8 years from the age of 8-16, by a family member, it sickens me to my stomach and makes my blood run cold to think that these innocent children may have been SA'd, in their own home, where you're meant to feel safe and secure, by their own Dad and that she may have known, or even had a slight inkling, that this was taking place. As someone thats been through that it breaks my heart. This is something that stays with you your whole life. It can really mess you up, even when you think lifes going great and you've been well for a long time, it can suddenly hit you like a freight train. I'm 36 and am still affected by what happened to me. I too also found out, many years later, that members of my family had suspicions of what was happening to me and yet did nothing. I really hope if any of these children have been harmed in any way that they are given all the support they need because they're really going to need it and it'll help them to live with what has happened to them. I'm also someone who on multiple occasions tried to unalive myself, due to this and other factors. Thankfully I've not done that for 17 and been 15 years free of SH. As I said, I really don't know much about This Mad Mama but, as someone who has been there, I can tell when someone has checked out. From this video the clips where her kid is talking to her about the things they want to do, just them and her, you can see in her eyes that she's not really present... She's completely checked out... I don't buy that this OD was an accident, I also don't think she voluntarily gave the kids away to CPS. It just doesn't add up. I think the kids were taken and that this OD was deliberate because she's checked out and doesn't want to be here anymore. Maybe she found out what Marty was doing, maybe she knew or suspected and feels guilty. I think a lot more will come out about this... This is just the tip of the iceberg.
I have heard a LOT of horror stories about dealing with CPS. I have had to deal with them a couple of times. One of which I had gone into emergency surgery and was in the hospital for a week when my daughter was barely 1 year old. Then, a few years ago, a couple of my daughter's friends showed up and caused problems. I sent them home and one friend's mother showed up and caused so many problems, I had to call the cops on her to make her leave. She then had the audacity to call CPS on me for the problems she brought to my house.
She sounds very much like my estranged sister, who is a malignant narcissist. She is likely flip-flopping about giving CPS/CPS taking her kids because she wasn't expecting the wave of concern/anger about her gross ex-husband that she allowed around the kids, knowing he was not a safe person. I hope her kids have some peace and stability. I know that kids growing up in environments like that don't realize how bad it was because that's all they've ever known, but once they see "normal" family life/routines they tend to have a lot of anger about their treatment. My oldest nephew and niece are zero contact with their mom because of how she treated them and allowed her husband (not their bio dad) to treat them. My sympathy lies with her children period.❤
To be honest. I think her kids being out of her care right now is for the best. She doesn't seem mentally, physically, or financially well enough to give them the care they need right now. She needs to get help for herself right now and if she ever truly wants her children back, needs to work towards becoming the mother they need because this whole situation is just... Idk. WOW! I've been wanting an update on TMM but this is a lot more than I expected. 😳 I definitely think this was the best option for the child with Cancer, he needs/needed more than she can give. Part of me thinks there should have been more support for her and her other children before it came to this, and there may have already been a lot Idk. Allowing a SO to continue living under the same roof as her children, is a huge F NO! If she did so, knowing he was doing this, the she deserves to be punished equally imo. 🤢🤢 I hope the children are safe and being provided some therapy, they will need it. 😢
17:58 Veronica, there's instructions on bottles of over the counter Tylenol, acetaminophen. It has labels and warnings. I have never met anyone who thinks it's safe to take as much as one wants of a medication. Over the counter or not
I worked in foster care for years- cps im sure had to take the children. the hospital probably reported it and when cps came it was there was probably more signs of neglect and indication of removal. and working in these cases- when children start talking usually more is uncovered- unfortunately. ive seen every situation you can imagine. foster care is EXTREMELY difficult on children, it is not a summer camp or fun, it is a terrible pain and separation from all they know- despite if what they knew was traumatic. this case can go on for years and years- especially with the amount of children. also CPS does not WANT to take children- reunification is always the main permanency goal and intention of most all DFS/CPS workers, UNLESS that proves to be extremely unsafe or if the parent does not work their case plan what so ever. there are disproportionate foster homes to the children in care, those workers want to get children home to free up space for other children. and when they dont have a home to go to they go to the equivalent of a modern day orphanage, which you can imagine is extremely traumatic. I could go on and on. I feel bad for these children and hope they get great therapists and workers on their case while in care.

I cant get over that D doesnt have a birth certifcate ! How long does she have to register for the certifcate in the state of NY after the birth ? In the UK we have 42 days after birth to register it, if you refuse you could be prosecuted , your child will not receive health care / cant go to school / cant acess welfare and other benefits. I can imagine its rare to have a child without a birth certifcate .. it really brings home how neglectful Veronica is

I’ve seen cases like this. She really wasn’t given a choice or to voluntarily giving them up. It’s BS. CPS may tell you where your kids are but it depends on the cause or reason for CPS involvement. Some parents get their rights suspended and have no visitation with action towards exterminating their rights, some get their rights paused but still can visit. I had a patient who was abused sexually, but the dad who was the culprit was not allowed visitation, and the state was very quickly moving towards removing all parental rights, while his mom was allowed to visit him at the psych ward, she wasn’t allowed to be alone with him just because she knew he was getting abused and did nothing. I literally had to be in the corner, while he played with his mom. I was told explicitly she was not allowed to mention her husband anything about their home life or school . Patient had a little brother and cps let him stay with mom but dad was not allowed any contact and had to move out. Mom was on probation and her rights were hanging in the balance. They were still looking into it and were not promising her or ensuring she would keep her parental rights. Later, I found out through hospital gossip, court decided her case made it impossible for her ever get her parent rights back. Both kids were sent to live with another relative. That relative is not allowed to let dad anywhere near them and mom can not have unsupervised visits or concerns that she would try to sway the kids or further traumatize them into believing that the government took them away for no reason their dad is a good guy, etc. etc. Some background for people who didn’t know cause they didn’t include in the beginning as I work at a psych hospital, where we get a lot of wards of the state. This case I’m describing was unique because the patient came from West Virginia and we were making jokes cause we are closer to DC how lacks their parenting rules were yet they were acting like they were on fire. And obviously father was tried for and found guilty of it later. The reason why dad was not in jail at the time was because his wife, the kids, mother posted bail. When CPS gets involved with the words Sexual abuse, there was no choice. She had to give them up. Her case sounds a lot like the case I just described. It’s all hearsay, but if it was exposed that she knew and did nothing, she may not get to keep her kids or get them back.

I see no evidence in her face or jaws that she had wisdom teeth removal. I have never seen anyone who had wisdom teeth removed that didn’t have some swelling or bruising in those areas.
That's what doesn't make sense. She was hospitalized a week and a half ago+ and was taking Tylenol for a removal. So presumably her teeth were pulled two+ weeks ago. How long does it take for swelling to go down?
It's been a long time since i had mine out but i had mine surgically removed and the throbbing pain went away after a few days but the swelling and especially bruising can last much longer. I think it took me close to 2 weeks to be able to eat real food again because even though i wasnt in constant pain anymore it still hurt to eat solid foods so i was eating only jello and pudding for the first week or so. If she did really get her wisdom teeth out, i wonder it was Tylenol 3's that she took. T3's are often prescribed for wisdom teeth removal and theyre much more potent than regular/extra strength tylenol because it has codeine in it. I'm just not buying that it was just regular over the counter tylenol because it takes a significant amount to get to the point she is/was in.
This is so sad. Poor kids. I think this is such a clear reflection of her mental health.. living an absolute chaos filled, unstable and overwhelming life. I think her online persona is an outlet to play pretend.. Play tough girl. She’s got it all under control. “Voluntary surrender” doesn’t really mean anything.. they were taking the kids regardless. They gave her the option to voluntarily surrender so that whenever she’s jumped through all of the hoops they will help her out and help her look good to the courts. Edit: also, I could absolutely see Alicia convincing Veronica to sign over a kinship adoption to “make it easier” for her to get them back. Aka just so she can exploit another child’s story
She is high in some of these hospital clips. It may be that she was on pain management and possibly took too much and they might be slowly taking her off. I am in pain management due to spinal issues. It is in my plan that when I am ready to be taken off these meds, I will be hospitalized due to withdrawal and doing it in a safe monitored way. If I had to give my kid up to provide better care, it’s likely I would be in a dark place also. I can’t imagine not having my children with me. She’s hiding something which is fine.its truly no one’s business and we aren’t entitled to her medical care. If she was in there for overdose, they wouldn’t be putting her on pain Iv. My heart breaks for the children. She didn’t protect them at all. Maybe they are better off far far away from her. Hopefully they are getting the therapy they need and deserve

I am sure the surgeon/dentist who removed her wisdom teeth went over specifically how much medication to take for pain! I never had a procedure done without the doctor or nurse explicitly going over the medication with me or my loved on or who ever took me to the doctor. This is insane!!
I don’t think Alicia can have M as the counties are different . In NYS state each county certifies their own foster parents and Alicia is in a totally different county than Veronica, unless Veronica asked for M to be placed with Alicia. Then because she was a certified foster parent in her county it is possible but it would be a lot of red tape to go through because Alicia’s county would not want to take on the cost of fostering another counties child.

Both need to be attended by a midwife, or nurse practitioner if delivering at home. If she had a problem, would she know to call 911? OMG.
I always heard those who gave birth at home mention there was a process to applying for a birth certificate and social security number. Some intentionally give birth at home because they want to be “sovereign”, not legally document their child as a us citizen.

Something about that home birth is not right. It does happen every so often unexpectedly, the mom and baby are usually transported to the hospital, usually someone calls 911. I’m a RN, I almost gave birth with our last in the hospital parking lot. We barely made it to the front door when a. Security guard came over with a wheelchair and radioed into to ER to be prepared .Baby was born in 10 minutes, we never made it to labor and delivery until she was born. She was our 4th and last. I worked at that hospital, I did not care if the whole world saw me give birth. I was fine at 10:00pm, just put the others to sleep, my husband walked in from work, I started to get something for him to eat and felt like I was kicked in the stomach. I called my neighbor, which was the plan. We lived 15 minutes from the hospital. It happened so fast. Baby born around 10:45. Pm
Seems like many things happened at once and finally spiralled completely out of control. I wonder if her putting off her surgery again and again also played a role. She was supposed to have a hysterectomy because of a possibly cancerous growth but decided to wait and wait and the last news was, she was going to see a specialist to save her uterus. It must have affected her mental state and maybe it was another reason for CPS to step in.
I know CPS does bad things, but she is 100% trying to paint CPS as the bad guys when it's her and her decision-making. Bad decisions do not lead to the results you want. I bet the issues with D's healthcare led to the other kids getting taken, as CPS looked into the family situation as a whole/ kept tabs on TMM.
Former Pediatric Trauma Nurse here: After hearing this hot mess of a situation, my personal speculation is that the hospital/treating institution that was treating D for his cancer took protective custody of D to ensure that he could get the proper care he needs as soon as possible. Not being able to treat/evaluate cancer due to a paperwork issue is asinine and it is mind boggling how a parent would not see this as a top priority when their child has fucking cancer. As far as the other kids go....there are so many likely scenarios. Again this is my personal speculation, but I would guess that she wasn't given the option to give her kids up. The way she described her overdose symptoms makes me believe that she was experiencing hepatic encephalopathy and her ammonia levels were stupid high. If she were taking the amount of Tylenol she said she was, I highly doubt that she would have any mental capacity to make any decisions-especially those regarding her children. If she intentionally OD'd, her legal ability to make decisions for her children would be taken away from her regardless of her mental state/awareness level. Either way........I don't believe her giving up her kids was voluntary. It was probably more likely that she was voluntold-as in CPS was like, "Hey we are taking your kids, you can either comply to make it easier/make it look better for you, or if you don't comply shit's about to get even harder than it already is."
My understanding is that D had a surgery for the neuroblastoma last year (summer ish/fall)? And now we're in the 5 years to see if it'll still kill him phase (her description from a video about it). So he got treatment up until that point. Her story definitely isn't adding up.

They're definitely on the opposite end of the scale from Alicia Dougherty. Leading to a lot of concern over whether the kids had enough to eat. She also got a lot of state benefits.
I have a friend who has birthed over a dozen…but they afford them with no assistance and are a lovely family. It’s just the family they wanted, they take care of them, and the kids are all SO sweet and very involved in the community. Moms like this one and Alicia just **Collect** children. They don’t HAVE children to grow and cherish, they just collect them.
When I was 14 years old I overdosed on ibuprofen voluntarily. Took hundreds of extra strength Tylenol to unalive myself. It was too late for charcoal bc it had been over 12 hours when I was brought to the er. That's when they do dialysis and other life saving methods. She infuriates me. I hope her kids can heal and have a better life. A stable and consistent environment to grow up in.

She didn’t “voluntarily” sign them over. She signed the agreement CPS makes parents sign when they decide to take kids. It’s considered “voluntary” if they agree with the orders CPS brings to them. It’s still “involuntary” in that they will tell the parents “you can sign this agreement and work with us and get them back much sooner, or we can take them against your will and this will be a years long battle…”
Now that they’re in foster care, nobody who has the kids can speak about it, so she can lie and say whatever and nobody will be allowed to refute it.

I had my daughter at home in the bathroom by myself, and she still has her birth certificate, SSN/CARD. Now, my ambulance bill was 12k to go .7m from my house to the hospital. Also, if my child doesn't have insurance, i would definitely have been at a free clinic or somewhere to get help for my child who is really sick. I take my kids to the urgent care over a rash.

We lost our birth certificates/SS cards in a flood, we got replacements within a few months. How do you just… not get a birth certificate or SS card for your child, especially when said child is critically ill and needs treatment??

What the hell is this girl teaching her kids ? It’s frightening.

There's been a lot of concern about her suitability since D got sick and she left Marty. But based on her own story, she's never been a source of stability sadly.
She lives in a home that was meant to be torn down. She’s always unkempt, the house is unkempt and makes zero effort to care for her children in a reasonable manner.

She's got all but the youngest 4 back now, and now marvelous has a broken arm. Granted, it happened in school. But only a month into their first year in real school and she never gave them her phone number or emergency contact number and they had a hard time getting ahold of her. So she blamed the school nurse saying she should have medicated him or called an ambulance. The school was at fault in her mind bc they made him sit there in pain, she said. It couldn't have been her own fault for not providing the school with her phone number. They finally got ahold of her with an e mail. So she makes a video of herself going to get a RX for martalya bc she has strep and talking about her sons arm. Saying she can't believe that one is hurt and one is sick the very same day, and dropping the f bomb. Out of 12 kids, two with a problem in one day put her over the edge. I'd hate to see what she'd do if they were all sick at the same time. Like maybe her and all the kids with the RONA . What on earth would she do then? Lol

Yellow is jaundice which means liver failure and not kidney though of she had dialysis she probably had multiple system failure. Tylenol is processed through the liver and products like advil through the kidney. She probably was taking Tylenol with percocet that has opiate drug and Tylenol. That is common and my suspicion.
This is what I always thought too. She was taking opioids with Tylenol. You have to take a load of Tylenol to OD on that. If she had no opioid tolerance, it would be a lot easier to OD. Opioids are mostly processed through your liver and through your bowels, therefore she could take them without any kidney issues.

They do, it's actually pretty common. Usually due to medical or psychiatric needs that can't be met by the parent or behavioral issues that pose a danger to other children in the home.. But that's clearly not what happened here.

I've seen a situation where one kid was taken and the other left with the parents. Nothing had actually been happening with the parents; was just the inlaws trying to claim the eldest kid out of pettiness. They pulled it off, too. NGL made me very paranoid about such things.

Just a theory but maybe when she surrendered D to the state as a last resort (or doctors got cps involved?) to get him medical help, cps checked on all the kids, possibly finding out more information about what Marty has done as well as the condition they have been living in. Then when they were taken from her she purposely overdosed and has completely lost the plotI’m hopeful that wherever those kids are that they’re safe and being looked after. It may seem harsh but I have no sympathy for her. She’s a terrible person and gives zero *beep* about those kids.

6-8 months is standard foster care time frame IF a parent does every single thing ordered in the family plan from the day the kids are taken. She will not get them back in 6-8 mos. She won’t even be able to start working on the plan until she’s home and stable. It’ll be much longer than that.

how do you not get a birth certificate for that long, I had my driver's license expring and was panicking about that. I'm 30 years old, was recently sick with a fever for a week. my mother gave me the tylenol no more t hen 6 in 24 hours, it says it right on the bottle. We all know it was a purposeful OD. She is stating all this I gave my kids to CPS, no ma'am CPS took your kids because you ODed and almost unalived yourself. there is no if and about that

I honestly think it was a mix of Donnie missing medical appointments plus her ex's recent arrest for child SA FINALLY kick started a proper investigation, then the medical event happened and they moved fast.
I’ve had so many emotions and thoughts as this has unfolded. As a therapist I see a woman who needs a lot of help. As someone who suffers from mental health issues I feel for her and see her spiraling. As a mother I am absolutely appalled by her “parenting” and the suffering her children have been subjected to. Also, my heart breaks for those children. We don’t even know that they are “better off” because we have all heard the foster care horror stories. This is such a mess. As much as we don’t want the children exploited I wish there was a way for us to know that they are safe/okay.

I really do think it was intentional. But I can understand why she wouldn't admit it, it will be much harder to her kids back. I don't think the CPS believes her regardless, hence the removal.
She is delusional. Poor Donnie deserves better care and so do the other children. Giving them up voluntary or not she likley won't see them again as her 'home' was slovenly, no heath insurance for the child (but has it for herself) and just no effort on her part to educate or meet the childrens basic needs.

So, I know someone will explain this better, but with the fact she almost off herself, she will not be getting her kids back for a while and they'll probably be pulled out of the temporary homes to more suitable homes and unfortunately she will not see them until she gets clean clean and prove to the state she is a fit parent to take her kids. And that's if they will see her as a fit parent because she almost off herself and if the meds she took to off her self isn't what she claims on the tiktok. The state has the real files and they know what she did. So if she lies here, then it's sucks for those kids. I'm glad they saved her life but she won't see her kids because she is a danger to those kids.
Unfortunately, that seems to be the case. She will have a brutal uphill battle trying to get them back before a year and these tiktoks aren't helping her imo. Her anti-community has been trying to get CPS involved for years. Now they are. I hope that she'll use this year to get herself sorted and in a much better place.

But no one wins when the kids are taken. And the worst is now those kids will see her differently now. And the talk with SA on the little girls and the oldest girl....that's a whole conversation and a half. Now they belong to the state, so whatever those kids says, it will be taken as truth and thus a downhill slope.

Now, also keep in mind, they now have the right to break down their home door and begin the home investigation. And given her state of home in real life and in the tiktoks will give them the best idea to go forward with charges and potential jailtime(?) For now we will see what happens now. I do hope to they give them the help the kids they need.

Weird, my son was approved for government health insurance during my pregnancy. I also walked into the county registry office and purchased 4 original birth certificates. I received them within 10 days of purchase. Not sure why she’s making a big deal about getting D’s paperwork
She says it's because of covid lockdown. I also had a covid baby and had zero problem getting my son's info online. Granted, I live in Canada.
Births need to be reported within 10 days, usually. He was born at home with no record of birth submitted by her or by a medical professional. She needs to go to court. She might need to provide proof of the pregnancy and a witness to provide testimony of the birth, so he can be registered.

Wow... Just... WOW. I really don't know much about This Mad Mama other than when I've seen your videos.... I'm literally speechless. I don't even know where to start. As someone who was SA'd for 8 years from the age of 8-16, by a family member, it sickens me to my stomach and makes my blood run cold to think that these innocent children may have been SA'd, in their own home, where you're meant to feel safe and secure, by their own Dad and that she may have known, or even had a slight inkling, that this was taking place. As someone thats been through that it breaks my heart. This is something that stays with you your whole life. It can really mess you up, even when you think lifes going great and you've been well for a long time, it can suddenly hit you like a freight train. I'm 36 and am still affected by what happened to me. I too also found out, many years later, that members of my family had suspicions of what was happening to me and yet did nothing. I really hope if any of these children have been harmed in any way that they are given all the support they need because they're really going to need it and it'll help them to live with what has happened to them. I'm also someone who on multiple occasions tried to unalive myself, due to this and other factors. Thankfully I've not done that for 17 and been 15 years free of SH. As I said, I really don't know much about This Mad Mama but, as someone who has been there, I can tell when someone has checked out. From this video the clips where her kid is talking to her about the things they want to do, just them and her, you can see in her eyes that she's not really present... She's completely checked out... I don't buy that this OD was an accident, I also don't think she voluntarily gave the kids away to CPS. It just doesn't add up. I think the kids were taken and that this OD was deliberate because she's checked out and doesn't want to be here anymore. Maybe she found out what Marty was doing, maybe she knew or suspected and feels guilty. I think a lot more will come out about this... This is just the tip of the iceberg.

I have heard a LOT of horror stories about dealing with CPS. I have had to deal with them a couple of times. One of which I had gone into emergency surgery and was in the hospital for a week when my daughter was barely 1 year old. Then, a few years ago, a couple of my daughter's friends showed up and caused problems. I sent them home and one friend's mother showed up and caused so many problems, I had to call the cops on her to make her leave. She then had the audacity to call CPS on me for the problems she brought to my house.

She sounds very much like my estranged sister, who is a malignant narcissist. She is likely flip-flopping about giving CPS/CPS taking her kids because she wasn't expecting the wave of concern/anger about her gross ex-husband that she allowed around the kids, knowing he was not a safe person. I hope her kids have some peace and stability. I know that kids growing up in environments like that don't realize how bad it was because that's all they've ever known, but once they see "normal" family life/routines they tend to have a lot of anger about their treatment. My oldest nephew and niece are zero contact with their mom because of how she treated them and allowed her husband (not their bio dad) to treat them. My sympathy lies with her children period.❤
To be honest. I think her kids being out of her care right now is for the best. She doesn't seem mentally, physically, or financially well enough to give them the care they need right now. She needs to get help for herself right now and if she ever truly wants her children back, needs to work towards becoming the mother they need because this whole situation is just... Idk.

I worked in foster care for years- cps im sure had to take the children. the hospital probably reported it and when cps came it was there was probably more signs of neglect and indication of removal. and working in these cases- when children start talking usually more is uncovered- unfortunately. ive seen every situation you can imagine. foster care is EXTREMELY difficult on children, it is not a summer camp or fun, it is a terrible pain and separation from all they know- despite if what they knew was traumatic. this case can go on for years and years- especially with the amount of children. also CPS does not WANT to take children- reunification is always the main permanency goal and intention of most all DFS/CPS workers, UNLESS that proves to be extremely unsafe or if the parent does not work their case plan what so ever. there are disproportionate foster homes to the children in care, those workers want to get children home to free up space for other children. and when they dont have a home to go to they go to the equivalent of a modern day orphanage, which you can imagine is extremely traumatic. I could go on and on. I feel bad for these children and hope they get great therapists and workers on their case while in care.

In the UK we have 42 days after birth to register it, if you refuse you could be prosecuted , your child will not receive health care / cant go to school / cant acess welfare and other benefits. I’ve seen cases like this. She really wasn’t given a choice or to voluntarily giving them up. It’s BS. CPS may tell you where your kids are but it depends on the cause or reason for CPS involvement. Some parents get their rights suspended and have no visitation with action towards exterminating their rights, some get their rights paused but still can visit. I had a patient who was abused sexually, but the dad who was the culprit was not allowed visitation, and the state was very quickly moving towards removing all parental rights, while his mom was allowed to visit him at the psych ward, she wasn’t allowed to be alone with him just because she knew he was getting abused and did nothing. I literally had to be in the corner, while he played with his mom. I was told explicitly she was not allowed to mention her husband anything about their home life or school . Patient had a little brother and cps let him stay with mom but dad was not allowed any contact and had to move out. Mom was on probation and her rights were hanging in the balance. They were still looking into it and were not promising her or ensuring she would keep her parental rights. Later, I found out through hospital gossip, court decided her case made it impossible for her ever get her parent rights back. Both kids were sent to live with another relative. That relative is not allowed to let dad anywhere near them and mom can not have unsupervised visits or concerns that she would try to sway the kids or further traumatize them into believing that the government took them away for no reason their dad is a good guy, etc. etc. Some background for people who didn’t know cause they didn’t include in the beginning as I work at a psych hospital, where we get a lot of wards of the state. This case I’m describing was unique because the patient came from West Virginia and we were making jokes cause we are closer to DC how lacks their parenting rules were yet they were acting like they were on fire. And obviously father was tried for and found guilty of it later. The reason why dad was not in jail at the time was because his wife, the kids, mother posted bail.
When CPS gets involved with the words Sexual abuse, there was no choice. She had to give them up. Her case sounds a lot like the case I just described. It’s all hearsay, but if it was exposed that she knew and did nothing, she may not get to keep her kids or get them back.
She has since confirmed that she was voluntold. So you're correct. She was bending the truth/facts I think.
There's something significantly wrong with her. I don't doubt that there is something wrong with her. BUT...I can almost promise ya she's NOT been truthful about MANY things! Because the things that she says make NO sense!

I see no evidence in her face or jaws that she had wisdom teeth removal. I have never seen anyone who had wisdom teeth removed that didn’t have some swelling or bruising in those areas.
That's what doesn't make sense. She was hospitalized a week and a half ago+ and was taking Tylenol for a removal. So presumably her teeth were pulled two+ weeks ago. How long does it take for swelling to go down?
I had bad bruising and was swollen AF. I didn't buy her stuff
The swelling may have subsided but she would still have some discoloration in those areas.
It's been a long time since i had mine out but i had mine surgically removed and the throbbing pain went away after a few days but the swelling and especially bruising can last much longer. I think it took me close to 2 weeks to be able to eat real food again because even though i wasnt in constant pain anymore it still hurt to eat solid foods so i was eating only jello and pudding for the first week or so.
If she did really get her wisdom teeth out, i wonder it was Tylenol 3's that she took. T3's are often prescribed for wisdom teeth removal and theyre much more potent than regular/extra strength tylenol because it has codeine in it. I'm just not buying that it was just regular over the counter tylenol because it takes a significant amount to get to the point she is/was in.

I think this is such a clear reflection of her mental health.. living an absolute chaos filled, unstable and overwhelming life. I think her online persona is an outlet to play pretend.. Play tough girl. She’s got it all under control. She can try to control the storyline

Once cps gets involved its a nightmare. They would have helped her to get a birth certificate. They don't make you give up custody to get medical
“Voluntary surrender” doesn’t really mean anything.. they were taking the kids regardless. They gave her the option to voluntarily surrender so that whenever she’s jumped through all of the hoops they will help her out and help her look good to the courts.
Edit: also, I could absolutely see Alicia convincing Veronica to sign over a kinship adoption to “make it easier” for her to get them back. Aka just so she can exploit another child’s story
She is high in some of these hospital clips. It may be that she was on pain management and possibly took too much and they might be slowly taking her off. I am in pain management due to spinal issues. It is in my plan that when I am ready to be taken off these meds, I will be hospitalized due to withdrawal and doing it in a safe monitored way. If I had to give my kid up to provide better care, it’s likely I would be in a dark place also. I can’t imagine not having my children with me. She’s hiding something which is fine.its truly no one’s business and we aren’t entitled to her medical care. If she was in there for overdose, they wouldn’t be putting her on pain Iv. My heart breaks for the children. She didn’t protect them at all. Maybe they are better off far far away from her. Hopefully they are getting the therapy they need and deserve
I'm sorry to hear about your spinal issues. I hope when you are able to stop taking the meds, your withdrawal isn't too brutal. And I agree, she shouldn't be posting this to TikTok, but I believe she's doing it for money and attention. As she made a point to mention her cash app (which I left out of my video).
I am sure the surgeon/dentist who removed her wisdom teeth went over specifically how much medication to take for pain! I never had a procedure done without the doctor or nurse explicitly going over the medication with me or my loved on or who ever took me to the doctor. This is insane!!

I don’t think Alicia can have M as the counties are different . In NYS state each county certifies their own foster parents and Alicia is in a totally different county than Veronica, unless Veronica asked for M to be placed with Alicia. Then because she was a certified foster parent in her county it is possible but it would be a lot of red tape to go through because Alicia’s county would not want to take on the cost of fostering another counties child.

Don’t midwives that do home births carry birth certificates with them. I know in the Amish country that is how it works.

Both need to be attended by a midwife, or nurse practitioner if delivering at home. If she had a problem, would she know to call 911? OMG.
I always heard those who gave birth at home mention there was a process to applying for a birth certificate and social security number. Some intentionally give birth at home because they want to be “sovereign”, not legally document their child as a us citizen.

Something about that home birth is not right. It does happen every so often unexpectedly, the mom and baby are usually transported to the hospital, usually someone calls 911. I’m a RN, I almost gave birth with our last in the hospital parking lot. We barely made it to the front door when a. Security guard came over with a wheelchair and radioed into to ER to be prepared .Baby was born in 10 minutes, we never made it to labor and delivery until she was born. She was our 4th and last. I worked at that hospital, I did not care if the whole world saw me give birth. I was fine at 10:00pm, just put the others to sleep, my husband walked in from work, I started to get something for him to eat and felt like I was kicked in the stomach. I called my neighbor, which was the plan. We lived 15 minutes from the hospital. It happened so fast. Baby born around 10:45. Pm

Seems like many things happened at once and finally spiralled completely out of control.
I wonder if her putting off her surgery again and again also played a role. She was supposed to have a hysterectomy because of a possibly cancerous growth but decided to wait and wait and the last news was, she was going to see a specialist to save her uterus.
It must have affected her mental state and maybe it was another reason for CPS to step in.

I know CPS does bad things, but she is 100% trying to paint CPS as the bad guys when it's her and her decision-making. Bad decisions do not lead to the results you want. I bet the issues with D's healthcare led to the other kids getting taken, as CPS looked into the family situation as a whole/ kept tabs on TMM.
Seems to be that Marty's arrest triggered the chain of events and cps started looking at her closely and it snowballed.

Former Pediatric Trauma Nurse here: After hearing this hot mess of a situation, my personal speculation is that the hospital/treating institution that was treating D for his cancer took protective custody of D to ensure that he could get the proper care he needs as soon as possible. Not being able to treat/evaluate cancer due to a paperwork issue is asinine and it is mind boggling how a parent would not see this as a top priority when their child has fucking cancer. As far as the other kids go....there are so many likely scenarios. Again this is my personal speculation, but I would guess that she wasn't given the option to give her kids up. The way she described her overdose symptoms makes me believe that she was experiencing hepatic encephalopathy and her ammonia levels were stupid high. If she were taking the amount of Tylenol she said she was, I highly doubt that she would have any mental capacity to make any decisions-especially those regarding her children. If she intentionally OD'd, her legal ability to make decisions for her children would be taken away from her regardless of her mental state/awareness level. Either way........I don't believe her giving up her kids was voluntary. It was probably more likely that she was voluntold-as in CPS was like, "Hey we are taking your kids, you can either comply to make it easier/make it look better for you, or if you don't comply shit's about to get even harder than it already is."
My understanding is that D had a surgery for the neuroblastoma last year (summer ish/fall)? And now we're in the 5 years to see if it'll still kill him phase (her description from a video about it). So he got treatment up until that point. Her story definitely isn't adding up.

They're definitely on the opposite end of the scale from Alicia Dougherty. Leading to a lot of concern over whether the kids had enough to eat. She also got a lot of state benefits.
I have a friend who has birthed over a dozen…but they afford them with no assistance and are a lovely family. It’s just the family they wanted, they take care of them, and the kids are all SO sweet and very involved in the community. Moms like this one and Alicia just **Collect** children. They don’t HAVE children to grow and cherish, they just collect them.

When I was 14 years old I overdosed on ibuprofen voluntarily. Took hundreds of extra strength Tylenol to unalive myself.
It was too late for charcoal bc it had been over 12 hours when I was brought to the er. That's when they do dialysis and other life saving methods.
She infuriates me. I hope her kids can heal and have a better life. A stable and consistent environment to grow up in.
