Hello Carole, thank you for your videos. I am just about to start my 3rd year of nursing and I find your talks very helpful. Especially with oncoming dissertation project which I am struggling to understand. I will share your channel with other students from my group.

Hi Carol. I'm currently going into a management post as a development secondment. Could you please give tips/ video on how to correctly performance manage staff?

Hi Kelly good luck in your new role and secondment - well done. It would be difficult to do video as it depends on the context and employer. My key tips are to seek advice from your HR lead and you should always adhere to your managing performance policy. Your HR dept should have policy and the guidance for you. I hop that helps ❤

Hi Shannon @user-dp1cy1cs1j The reference is from a book:
Langley, K., Nolan, K., and Nolan, T. et al. (1996) The Improvement Guide: A Practical Approach to Enhancing Organisational Performance. San Francisco: Jossey Bass. There is also an updated book published in 2009 on amazon if you put in the book title you'll see it. I hope that helps.❤
