Attaway Audio i have a analog mixer with 6 aux output and I want to add personal in ear mixer (behringer 16p) at each musician how would I be able to do that ?
Okay, so I thought that switch on the back of the monitor was a volume control. Didn't bother to look at the markings. That... explains the resulting mayhem. Thank you.
Please make a video on setting up PA system step by step Audio mixer to amplifier powering different speaker. It will be a great help. May be a lame question but if possible. God bless you!!
Hey brother first of all! I love your videos your presentation is top notch and among the best I’ve ever seen. Love this practical video that just gets right to the point. I do have a question you referred to the input gain knob as a trim. Was that accurate terminology or was it I miss speak? I’ve always understood gain and trim to be two different things gain increasing the volume or as trim had the ability to decrease volume. I also know that terminology can vary from Consol Consol so I was wondering if you could clarify a little :-) again love your stuff!
Potayto-po-tah-to. It's basically the same thing. But some consoles have their preamp control AND a trim that's separate for fine tuning or adjusting internally that doesn't affect other consoles using the same preamp.
Hey , I'm a new keyboard player at my church and I have a LD speaker system that I purchased to use when I play at my church. We are currently having like drive in services and I'm outside with my keyboard running through both speakers mounted on their supports. I have my mic going through my keyboard amp. How should use my equipment when we go back into the sanctuary so that I get maximum sound . It's just me and a drum along with my singers or choir.. Give me some suggestions please
Dear sir, your demo is great! Congrats!!! I have a bad mind on Guitar, DI box and 1/4 inch TRS. Generally we need to fix a DI box when we plug guitar to mixer or other way is via guitar amplifier. But TRS jacks are balanced cable and mixer input is also balance input. Although I have seen many people use DI box and mono TS cables. Why?? We can't use TRS balance cable to fix directly to mixer???? Thanks
Dear Sir, your all demonstrations are pretty great and sounds congratulations!!! I am a beginner on electric guitar. When I fixed my guitar to amplifier there is a big hum ( ground loop). But if I touch strings then hum will fade away. The problem is that the power cable is a fixed one to the amplifier and it doesn't have a ground pin to connect to the 3 phase power socket. Only 2 pins plug. So have can I kill the hum???? thanks
Hopefully your e fixed this, but just in case… If your amp has a two-prong plug, try reversing it. It may also be that your cable has a poor shield, or there is a bad capacitor in the amp. I’m guessing it is a tube amp. I hope by now you’ve found an experienced tech at your music store. Blessings, anyway.
For some reason at my church there's a static/ crackling sound coming from either the cordless microphones and or the speakers and we really don't have a "tech person" to help fix this problem. We have mackie pro v16 mix board, samsons amp soeakers and 4 samsons cordless micropnes ave were in a small church.
Mute wireless mic and speakers one at a time if the popping and crackling stops then that’s where you problem make lie. You may have to change cables/cords or replace the mics and/or speakers. Hope this helps.
Soooper Dude! All I needed to REVISE my own know-how on basic sound setups. I wouldn't give up your sound job for a singing career though ! (prince had no worries - Hah Hah!) - SERIOUSLY nice guy & a great video. KEEP SAFE & stay happy. 10/10 for a lively, informative film & yes, I have subscribed OK. PLEASE do a film on SENDS/RETURNs as I can't get my head round this!
Hey, I have a question about my set-up in 2 weeks… I have 4 active subs and 2 active tops. How exactly do I connect these to the mixer? Can I just go from the master out to 2 subs, to two another subs and from there to the tops? Or is that not done?
Depends on the subs. Some have an output that's crossed-over already, others just have a straight pass-through. If there's no crossover built in, I have a video coming out next week that shows how to set that up from the console side.
Hey! I hope someone can help me out with my church setup ⬇️ For passive speakers, do the power amps stay back in the tech room ~100ft away from the stage or do the amps go on stage? I have a mixer, power amps and passive speakers but I'm still figuring out where to set everything up before buying cables. Not sure if I should buy 100ft speaker cables from the amp to speakers or 100ft XLR cables from the mixer to the amps. I appreciate any help. Thanks!
Kick drum goes to tops as well.. you need some "snap" from the beater in most genres. Usually subs are fed by a crossover that splits signal between tops and subs before the amplifiers.

@@cesarcampero Do you have direct outputs or inserts on the console? If no direct outputs and inserts only, are you using some or all of them?
Attaway Audio I have inserts on each channel not being used . What would I need ? I’ll appreciate it

I'd lean more toward protecting your amps and keeping them in a back room, as long as they have plenty of circulation for heat dissipation.
Sir how to tap the delay... Everytime I tap the delay but delay tempo not matching with vocal... Can you help me?
After you make sure it’s assigned to the right place, there’s still some timing inaccuracies. Some will average over 4 taps, so that can be helpful
Does kick drum just go to the bass...or bass and top both..??
And if we have 2 outputs Left and right so how to output to bass
