Properly Taking Down Braids in Costa Rica (WITH WILDLIFE!!)

- I couldn't decided whether to wear my hair in a protective style or natural for my trip to Central America, so I chose both!!
In order to have a TRULY protective style, taking braids down the gentle, moisturizing, and healthy way is essential. This method greatly lowered the amount of breakage I experienced, making my hair grow longer from new growth, while still remaining thick and voluminous.
Hopefully, you all can take a helpful tip from this informative video, especially if you are taking your braids down soon or planning on getting a protective style in the future. Enjoy!!

Everything about this video is perfect😍😍 the only thing I would’ve done is used oil instead of the hair mask only because the hair is already fragile so adding any product that contains water and letting it sit for a while tends to make your hair weak and prone to breakage... it’s kinda of like going swimming for a long time and your fingertips get soggy, well are hair, skin and nails are made up of the same protein. I hope I don’t sound like a nagging commentor😂 I love this video and I think you’re very beautiful😍

Got scared when I saw she was using a Deva Curl product. Then I saw this video came out last year. Please no one use Deva Curl products many women have reported it made their hair thin and in some cases caused their hair to completely fall out in patches.

It’s normal loose between 50-100 hair on your head per day. You’ll just see that all at once when you take down a protective style

I attempted at ur tutorial on the braids but only managed to do 45 knotless. But it was my first time. How did u manage to keep the frizz controlled and stop it from loosening?
Millie I oiled it often but I really just embraced the frizz! I also used a hair mask to weigh my hair down also while moisturizing it

Jametta Randolph nope not at all. When I did I simply wet them and put some cheap conditioner on the ends to detangle
