  • Combining Aloe Vera gel and Jamaican Black Castor Oil is an excellent treatment to boost natural hair growth and add volume. It also calms an aggravated scalp and treats issues like dandruff, dry scalp, and product buildup. I've been using fresh aloe for a year now and it's made a huge difference in transforming my dry, frizzy hair to moisturized curls. If you're struggling with hair fallout, dryness, thinning, or slow growth, try this simple do-it-yourself mask for a week or two and see the results for yourself :)

    Natasha, your hair is gorgeous!
Quick tip on using fresh aloe Vera. You have to soak the pieces in water overnight to get the toxins out. You will see some yellow junk seep out in the morning. Wash the junk off, then you can apply aloe gel to hair safely.

I used fresh aloe today for the first time in my hair as a pre poo also something I’ve never done and I mean wow 😳 my hair is much softer and more manageable. My edges used to be rough after that they laid down with no product. I’m so happy to have finally tried it I recommend everyone to give it a try.

Ok so I just Got me a nice aloe Vera leaf. I'm gonna try it on my Husband & Twin boys hair they have dry itchy scalp and my husband has extreme eczema dry skin and I believe a touch of psoriasis in his scalp & skin and I'm gonna try this instead of the avocado rice water etc... My Uncle taught me 20+ yrs ago aloe vera does alot!! So I'm gonna try this on my family and self and return in 2 weeks more or less with results hopefully good results.

To everyone commenting about buying aloe at the store: that size leaf is from a very mature plant. Most stores such as Lowe’s and Home Depot do not sell plants that big and if they did they wouldn’t cost less than $40.00. The smaller plants sold would take at lest 5 years to get that big. Not sure how often she does this but it’s cheaper to buy one leaf then a cup of coffee.

Buy an aloe plants leave it alone for 2 months and it will grow and make more plants (puppies) that will grow. You can save a lot of money that way. I have 4 plants that are huge after 1 year and I rotate them so I never have to buy aloe. I just gave 3 away because they make puppies so fast.

I have 4c hair, dense ans coarse. I use aloe and black castor oil in the same way but I leave it in. It’s amazing!!! Makes my hair super soft and manageable. I also use it to retwist my hair and put it on my edges daily. I also rub it on my face then put an oil based serum on top of that. For my eczema dry skin, that’s all it needs!

I just wanna say THANK YOU! You are the God sent angel to help people like me with curly hair distresses. I recently cut off all my hair from perm damage scalp irritation, some thinning in places near the front of my hair. And I just want my long (I think) hair back (at least to know that I can grow it back, even if I do cut it all back off… I probably will). But I now just want a healthy scalp and right now my scalp is so irritated. I just went out and bought the Aloe vera and Jamaican black castor oil with peppermint. I need that “cooling effect on my scalp right about now. I am going to follow your I instructions to the letter for these two products (I don’t think I’ll need the others right now since I am almost bald (not even an inch of hair yet). But I’ll keep you posted if my progress. I’ll wash my hair once a week (I use to wash my hair everyday) cus I don’t use any heat at all on my irritated scalp. Thank you for sharing and keeping it SIMPLE!!! Oh by the way, I am new to your channel this is my first time visiting but not to worry because I have locked you in for all of your videos and have given you a thumbs up! Thank you

Great video. Two tips /suggestions. Scrape the aloe jelly off the leaf and blend it all in a blender first. You will get more of a foamy consistency aloe that is easier to apply to your hair and you get more aloe out of it. Second, I recommend using a cotton t-shirt as a towel after washing your hair instead of that turban towel. Cotton doesn't dry out your hair like towels do. You will find that your hair is less frizzy.

I love using aloe vera especially on my face and skin I use to use it daily cut from my yard, I cut back though because it had this odd scent I could only compare chicken noodle soup. With that said regardless of the smell, it's a powerhouse I haven't really used it on my hair too often but I will start it's definitely a multi purpose plant.

Ok? Espero ter lhe ajudado. Forte abraço
