Beautiful rendition of a fantastic and oddly wholesome if not unsettling tale.
Be they prince or pauper, all accounts are settled when the void calls. Death deals not in judgement.. save for those who would try and cheat it.

Clark Ashton Smith. One of the best to ever write in this genre.

Very interesting story. Not often you see a humanized and not completely psychotic necromancer.

Honestly if I were the protag and had no god to worship Mordiggian would be my choice at that point. Dude clearly knew she wasn't dead and wasn't going to harm her. The Ghouls didn't even bare them a grudge. Say does this priesthood have openings?

OM Goodness - i just realized you’re not British. . it’s so terrific to hear an american reader who is so good .hate to say it, but i find it unusual as far as audiobooks are concerned. Edward French is one, too.
(i know readers don’t like to listen to other readers, so i don’t mean for you to check him out. you’re both totally different. :) 🐈🐾🌻

I have been listening to Edward French for a few years now. I too think he's great. Recently I sent him "The Compleat Adventures of Jules de Grandin" (E-book) as a thank you for all the hours of joy he provides to all of us audiobook lovers...
      Thanks for your kind remarks.
      All the best from Holland.

Always one of my favorites by Clark Ashton Smith. In the off chance the uploader sees this can you upload a reading of "Empire of the Necromancers?"
