Mahindra is not that you are actually thinking. Mahindra is a huge SUV manufacturer in India, M&M makes trucks, buses, Cars, Tractors, Earth movers, Motorcycles and many more. It is more than 75% owner of Italian designer Pininfarina and 100% owner of Automobili Pininfarina. It also owns South Korean Ssangyong.
It's a shame what Jeep is doing to them. They brought manufacturing jobs back to Michigan. Imagine all the jobs lost and the families affected by this lawsuit. FCA is too greedy.
Roxor's driving around for 100,000 plus miles is amazing. Automatics, trailer w/dump bed option, who knows what else and roxor is upping their game around here. No they need to be street legal and FCA to drop that stupid lawsuit when Mihindra has the legal rights to the willy's body
I think Mahindra will do very well in the US with some products from their line up. The Roxor is the lowest specced Mahindra I know of. Their line up is simple, rugged, utilitarian and very reliable, plus they will also sell turbo diesels with manuals.
I like it. Especially since at 6’4” there’s no leg room in any other side by side. And I’m a Jeep guy I have an M38A1 and a TJ. I would definitely be looking at one of these

The FCA lawsuit on Mahindra is because they couldn't digest the fact that Mahindra is selling a similar product for cheap. Mahindra during 1940 used to make with Dodge Chrysler products like CJ Jeeps and FC (Fwd Ctrl) vans in India and they continue to build Jeeps but not with technology from FCA anymore. India is not China they do not steal designs and they want to keep it legal but will eventually beat the opposition with technology and sales. Indian companies like TATA and Mahindra owns a lot of other western companies that general people are not aware of.
Mahindra owns Pininfarnia the Italian design company that designed a number of Ferraris , Ssyangyong of South Korea and TATA owns Jaguar Land Rover and Daewoo Truck in Korea

No its not.. Thar belongs to a different segment. Even Thar isn't road legal in most countries due to its inferior passenger and driver safety measures. The new Thar 2020 might change that though.. with more safety features and road friendly suspension. Mahindra might bring all segments to rest of the world as they tend to change their approach over time.
It can be made road legal in some states with some minor modifications. In my state all it needs is the ecu tuned to remove the 45mph limits, turn signals, horn, side mirrors, and rearview mirror. It appears as though the Roxor hasn't taken the cab design too seriously... While there are parts that can be added to the Roxor to enclose the occupants and provide some protection from the elements... The parts that have been shown to date look quite unattractive for an otherwise attractive vehicle. It would be an improvement to the cab if Roxor used the Kabota RTV cab as a benchmark in design and looks. As this may be the only UTV / RTV vehicle that makes the cab design look good on their vehicles. Also keep in mind that there are taller drivers out there and adequate leg room is a must.
Is the parts availability getting better. Several people I’ve reached out to on UA-cam have said they got rid of their Roxor’s because of poor parts and service support.
Any updates on where mahindra is headed today? The last couple years has seen a decrease on the production side of things. Roxor doesn’t offer the customization like it use to. I haven’t seen the rox box or the trailers for sale either. I’m curious if mahindra will ever produce the trucks and suvs for the American market like he mentioned.
Awesome, but I would want the entire Roxor to have the Rox lining which means the exterior of the body including the entire underneath of the Roxor. I want total protection especially from rust and road salt. Is this offered as an option or will it be in the near future?
