I owned a Porsche 987 boxster. And that car made me respect the brand alot. Right now after hearing the sound of the 4 cylinders, I'd probably get a Jaguar F-Type instead
Justice Warrior dude. U can get it for much less than 80 000. I think the regular boxster costs around 60 000. And then there are the S and GTS versions that are more expensive
value for money, (another) best car on the planet. Enjoy my 986 for 5 years. fantastic. Still park at the furthest end of a parking lot, and look back too many times. Who can say that. Rush shopping just to drive back home, sharing with boys, playing on skidpan and tracks. The fun never stops.
Porsche seems to forget that one reason people bought Boxster and Cayman (especially ) is due to the naturaly aspirated flat 6 engine which it had previously. Raw power nothing else. If they need a 4yclinder turbo charged car they would go for Subaru. Much cheaper and easier to maintain. The new 718's sounds like Sabaru as well.

Jadan O response might be a bit late but I can confirm they work well. I have them in my 2006 Cayman S. And I’m happy to report they’re still produced exactly the same as they were back then.
