Well at least they didn’t fly into someone’s windshield and cause them to wreck, rather lose a bag than life, replace them and check all your bolts ….safe riding!

How did they come off? Did something break, or were they not fully secured? It's hard to imagine not just one bag, but both bags?
Like they always say it would have been worse. Glad it was the saddlebags and not you my brother under that van. So that been said keep riding and enjoying life and be safe doing it. You and your family have a great summer.

Did they snap the bolt off that bolts then on? I've hit some crazy stuff here where I live, they are widening interstate 10 here and repairing 3 bridges all at the same time so the interstate is tore up, but that's crazy right there sir. I am thankful that nobody was hurt and you live to ride another day!! Be careful!!
