Love the content as always brother! Thanks for continuously pumping out content, and love just going along on the ride with you. I am a 2nd year Naturopathic Medical student, about to take my 1st boards in 2 weeks and your stuff keeps me motivated man. What you do makes allopathic medicine so necessary and I love how you give transparency and a look into your world as a physician. NYC looks pretty rad, too! Anyways, I appreciate you and all you do, and your patients are blessed to have you! I think you definitely chose the right specialty!
Taking care of your wife is more important than sleep. Good job hubby. Thanks for showing us your package. Always need protection when using such a great instrument.
You mentioning repairing grafts, etc. for dialysis patients, which brought back a lot of memories. My Nanny Pat spent 14 1/2 years on dialysis and was the longest woman living in Oklahoma. 💜
Hi I love your videos! Nice to know what’s it’s like to be you! Please be safe! Always remember what you and your wife have experienced together!😍 I have known my husband for 42 years and we are still best friends! We used to fly with AA ( Captain and test pilot and Flight Attendant ) My husband just had done what you are now doing! Yeah his blood was flowing and now his legs are better than ever! Thanks 🙏🏼 for what you are doing and giving people their life back! Bless you and your wife! Coming from Cleveland Ohio! His dr was a Cleveland Clinic Dr here in Cleveland at Fairview Hospital! Great Dr , always called me after sx and told me how my husband was doing! ♥️ ! I just want you and your wife to know, that it will be worth all the school, money and hard work to give people their life back after sx!🙏🏼😇😘😘😘! I am now a Clinical Aesthetician and have worked with 3 plastic surgeons, what a interesting chapter in my life ! It was 🤓 to experience this! But now I am retired, doing what I want when I want 😂😁! Life goes by fast, enjoy every moment! 🙏🏼😇😘 Be well and stay safe!♥️
Third year med student here. I’ve been using my MacBook Pro for over two years now and it’s the exact same as the one you just got. There’s no need for a cover. You can put a cool sticker on it but I personally have not had any scratches or damage (and I have a 3 year old son AND a 1 year old son). It must be the aluminum or something but the MacBooks are really scratch resistant.
As a kid I got hurt and split my eyebrow open. Went to er and they glued it shut with the fancy stuff. A day or 2 later I reopened it, and they glued it again and steri striped it. We looked at the glue to see about having in our med kits, but couldn't find it or was ridiculously expensive. So instead we added super glue vials into our kits. And from then till now I won't have a medical kit without it. I sliced open my right pinky finger and I used the glue to clot and somewhat seal the wound. Got to the er they used a cleaner and got all the glue out and then stitched it up. Made a difference, maybe not perfect. But infection can be worked on, losing blood takes priority. Highly recommend just keeping super glue in first aid kits.
Dr. Cellini - can you comment on the differences in career options / outcomes as an interventional neurologist who trains through radiology as opposed to neurology residency?
I think being trained via the radiology route gives you a better understanding of imaging and keep in mind throughout diagnostic residency you are exposed to A LOT of IR training during residency, which would likely place your skillset higher than doing a neuro residency. That's not to say you cant learn interventional sklls in interventional neuro fellowship afterwards, but I feel you have more of a base of imaging AND skills through the radiology pathway.
I would get a cover for it, and then ask yourself how long it will be before a child in Asia is picking it up out of a scrapheap to melt down it's components for gold, a timeframe which of course will be lengthened by getting a cover for it.
dude screw the cover, I used to have a cover, then I took it off and never looked back, as long as you get a carry case for it leave it. They are pretty hard to scratch/dent!.. leave it raw
Man I always wonder about that too! Let me know what you have to do with your hospital to get that. I’d feel a bit weird even asking. Sometimes I just want to ask my patients and see if they’re cool with it 🤔
Can you comment on the radiation exposure concerns? My PI (an IR attending I really look up to) tried to convince me it is negligible but I've heard mixed reviews. I'm an M3 trying to figure out their life path soon lol
Ahhhh AVF declots.... always prefer them with an IR dr. We have a nephro who likes to do his own. We literally have to drape the whole room like an episode of Dexter. We have cleaned blood from the top of the c-arm to the Pyxis. 😫. Still love that nephro though! Lol!
488 has air inlets on the rear quarter, I know this because I spotted one in my home town and was perplexed myself to the difference. The owner was cool, probably because I was just interested in the car, rather than calling him a Ferrari wank#r
Hey man, love your contact and these type of vlogs! Since I started watching you I am considering even more Radiology. Could you make a video on the possibility of working from home/ telecommuting as Radiologist? I would just recommend you getting a more directional shotgun mic (or use a lav mic) when you are talking on the street because there's too much background noise and it's a bit hard to understand you sometimes. Keep up the good work!
Hey dude, hopefully I can help just a little. I work at a big hospital system and a lot of our radiologists are working from home doing telehealth right now. I’ve had to call a lot of radiologists for reads and caught them at home. So it’s definitely possible. I think the majority of ours are at home right now. Obviously not the IR dudes like Cellini because they’re procedural. Maybe one day they’ll be chilling on their couches doing interventions with robots haha
I love your videos, even if you cant show any medical procedures. Also, You're the best husband, walking your wife home even after you shower and want to go to bed.
When I was an intern on internal medicine, I was with a few prelims who were going IR. Hands down the smartest dudes on the team and all around awesome. Built life long friendships. But anyway, all the IR people I know are awesome. I’d definitely recommend if to anyone thinking of medicine.
Hi Dr. Cellini, hope you are well. I have some questions on your specialty. I know that radiology is a wide specialty. How vast is the knowledge and are radiologist required to be competent in clinical medicine? Radiology is one of the specialty I am considering but I don't want to loose my knowledge from medical school
My daughter is leaving for her freshman year in college and majoring in Radiologic Sciences-Radiography (Bachelor's) will she be able to get into Med school with this major? She really wants to be a Radiologist and I want to make sure she is on the right path. Have done a ton of research on appropriate majors to get into med school, but saw mixed reviews on her anticipated major. Please help! Thanks and keep making your awesome videos
Im so uncertain what speciality I want to choose, seeing someone happy about their choice makes me so relieved. Thx doc
Yeah I just narrowed down to less than 5. Hope I make the right choice.
Him: look at that Me : looks at the trash bags Him: there’s a Ferrari over there
Haha same here, I was confused for a couple seconds lol
I don’t know if I’m dumb or just tired but my mind hurts reading This
Lama Aldawood it’s pretty self explanatory
Awww walking the wifey home!! What a great husband ❤️
Such a good feeling knowing you’re doing exactly what you should be! I know I couldn’t imagine doing anything but medicine. Love watching you grow man
And its a great challenge a great career.
Love what you do man, my grandfather was a diagnostic radiologist for 45 years. It's a field I am considering
I lived in the same area when I worked at Mount Sinai before med school. Brings back lots of memories. I'm an M2 now - keep up the good work Doc!
I worked there before med school as well :)

Macbook cover + med related stickers would totally be sick.

These videos make me miss NYC so much😭 Can't wait to be back. Great video as always.
Thank you!!
The editing was amazing and your workflow is inspiring. Great job doc love from UK👍🏽❤️
Dude I'm so happy for you. So awesome.
Awesome video doc, thank you for always sharing your knowledge about the cases or procedures that you did for the day. So excited for the next video.

Love NYC at night so peaceful and quiet (for NYC). Glad you walked your wife home.
Yeah man we enjoy these Vlogs! Keep me coming!
Metal shows every tiny little scratch. Definitely get a case or a skin for it if you're going to be moving it around at all.

Can’t wait for desk set up video 🙌🏻 and you’re so sweet to walk your wife home!
That’s so sweet of you to walk her home even if your tired !
Can you add the times like when you go to and from hospital so we can know for how long you worked
YOOOOO!!!! I also just got a MacBook Pro and I am LOVING it! I cannot believe I waiting this long! :D
I’ve never been more excited for a desk video, cannot wait!
sending good vibes your way about posting the studies you do!!! I'm super interested in you explaining them!!! science is so fuckin cool.
MacBook Pro! Yea Boi! Welcome to the family! 🖤
Removing the lift tab is the best feeling in the world. Lol
So excited to see the BEST desk setup!
waiting for a few more tiny things to come in, and then filming!
@@DrCellini I'm a first year radiology resident in India and I'm too pumped for IR. You're the inspiration! 🥳
I enjoy what you do @Dr. Cellini. I really do enjoy every single content you put out and I learn from your videos!! p.s that Ferrari is a 488.
Your videos are inspiring, Dr. Cellini.⚡
I love your vlogs. I’m just a mere nursing student so can’t really relate to the doctor life but I enjoy your perspective.
Superexcited about new videos on procedures and the new vlogport Sir. BTW that technique of zooming in and slinging out the knife is funny to watch 😁
Your walk to work is like my dream walk to work 😁🇬🇧
That Ferrari is frequently parked on that block. I've seen other exotic cars parked there too.
I saw the trash too. It took a while to see the car.

Dang I can't wait to see your whole set up. Now do u sure it with your wife or does she have her own? Love it when u explain your procedures!
Notis on for the desk setup 😉

Reupload? Still just as awesome a video as the first one. I enjoy your NYC videos.
same video...WAAAAY better quality
First! You're a rads GOAT!
thx!
A video about fellowship and related expenses please
“Well if we do get an add on, it doesn’t really matter” 😆💪🏼
Either way you’re stuck there all day

I really love your channel since I day one, and now your NY vlogs Amazing 🙌🏻🙌🏻😍
Get a Dbrand skin for your MacBook! I’ve had mine for a little over a year now and it still looks brand new. Highly recommended
Yes!! Talk more about ur speciality what u like and dislike in IR
Awesome! Vlogs. Blessings!
not sure if someone already commented it, but the ferrari was a 488 haha
Wow fade in audio music at ending. Skills abound.

I still love your videos and I can't wait for the next one!!🐰
Yay! Thank you!
I just got my first MacBook! Best feeling opening that box!
I'm here for the vlogs!!✨✨
haha they aren''t stopping anytime soon!
Love u guys :)
Love the videos first off, but do you know when or if you'll be able to actually show any of the procedures you're preforming?
I'm hoping soon! It's a new hospital and trying to speak to everyone I can about going about it the right way!
It's a 488 btw :P

I would get a cover for your new laptop.!!!!!!!
Hey I just love your videos!! Once your new MacBook is set up you should do a what's on my MacBook video haha
Deal!
Biggest mistake I made in my career as a tech was leaving IR for C.T. If I were ever to come out of retirement IR or O.R. is it for this guy.
Glad you fix video
Gotta get to those hill repeat workouts lol

Not skipping ads! And haha, your reaction to your MacBook! 😂
One of the main reasons I’m going the PA route is the ability to switch specialities. They have residencies for PAs too.
ohhirenee it’s a great field! Congrats
Can you comment on the radiation exposure concerns? My PI (an IR attending I really look up to) tried to convince me it is negligible but I've heard mixed reviews. I'm an M3 trying to figure out their life path soon lol
there isn't much data about it unfortunately, but with proper radiation safety practices, it is likely fine
@@DrCellini I thought radiologists interpret the scans and do not actually administer them.
When you first started med school, initially where you afraid of doing or watching surgery?
Nope, bc I spent time in the OR prior to med schook

Dr. Adam Hotchkiss truly the best haha!
Aw man, I can't imagine how you're feeling about the new MacBooks that just rolled out
What would you say is the main difference between IR and vascular surgery?
guessing it's a 488 cause of the side vents. but they are just 458 variations in my book 😂
I feel the exact same way when unboxing an apple product!

possibly...that may take some research!
@@DrCellini thanks:-) I'm about to start residency in radiology

late to the comment section but imaging walk throughs would be dope
