I have the original Westmorland and love it. Real quality and after a thorough soak, scrub and re proofing it looks outstanding. I even used Duraglit to shine the inside of the poppers and the brass zip pull 🤷♂️
I may look to buy another one (not too sure about the style of the New Westmorland to be honest)
I’m 6 feet tall with a 42 inch chest and the medium original is perfect. I’m pretty sure I’d be a size large in the new one as you said.
Hoggs of Fife do the same thing for one third of the price. It would be interesting to compare them side by side in a future video.
I have only the new version and wear it for sport shooting clays and trap. I'm really digging it for that purpose. Cracking good review mate, well done!

Great review. You are costing me money :) After your advice on the Lutz I watched your other vid on Barbour International. I really liked the jackets so ended up buying the Barbour Icons International Waxed 125 years edition and it's effortlessly cool / classic. The new Westmorland is made for style. The original was made to last..
Having used both and the original is way more superior. I use my old Westmorland for country life, game shooting etc. I would buy three if the original in sage went production for future need.
Do they fit the same?
I have the new one but had to sell it due to the fit. Way to tight on the shoulder and to baggy around my waist, and quite long.
what about the dept B version with to tone and red inner collar?
The comparison to a “Bedale without sleeves”, is that simply about the pocket configuration, or would you say the sizing is similar to a Bedale too?

@@WaxandTartans bought my Ogston today. Ive got a Bedale, Beaufort, Northumbria, Westmorland and have previously owned a Trooper and various quilted Barbours but the Ogston beats them all. Hands down. You will love it!
