4:07 I guess this colour is 954 Stripped Havana and not their standard 902 Tortoise which is much darker.

Just to clarify, you typically wear a US10 in boots, but for RMW, you opted for a US9 (a full size down from your usual)? Also, towards the end of the video, you mentioned that US9.5 might have been a better fit-did I catch that correctly

Very wrong information on sizing, the model chose to wear a smaller size fitting and then he claimed that Ashby model jacket is very small in size fitting, he has an option to wear a bigger size and I suppose it will give him a much better fitting. Two cents.

I bought it yesterday with a lovely Labor Day discount. I absolutely love it so much, and I will rock it pretty hard for years to come. I agree with the smell part; Filson's bag has a special woodsy, earthy smell, which I can't find on other brands' bags. It probably depends on how they treat the materials. I got the Beacon jacket about 5 years ago, I prefer the jacket without the built in storm flap, it does come with a small triangle removable storm flap (which I keep in the top pocket for when needed), well done in getting it for £70 odd , what a find, as you say, they are rare and the price is set accordingly normally way passed the £600 mark I think I got mine for £380 (with P+P), a very good jacket that I still wear in the winter months.

I have both B&L and Luxxocita aviators. I've noticed the temple arms sit quit low on the frame on B&L compared to the Luxxocitas.

I have a pair of vintage AO glasses 5 1/2 (with double line milled AO and "American Optical" written on the temples. The upper bridge has "Command AO/USA" written on it. The glasses were given to me by a friend who found them in a box in his attic. Would you know to help determine if it is genuine American Optical.Thanks for your help!

The ones with the yellow tabs are possibly around two decades old. Haven’t had those colour tabs in ages.

RM Williams are a beast of a boot! I also have pairs of beautiful Chelsea’s made by Crockett and Jones which are twice the price of RM Williams but the pull tabs already broke on them! You can pull as hard as you like on the RM’s…good luck breaking their tabs!

What size are your B&L Clubmasters ? 49mm or 51mm ? I bought a pair that’s 49mm but seems small even for my narrow slim face. Maybe because am used to wearing bigger lens 58mm Aviators.

That was a poor designer. A real designer worthy of the title would have duplicated the inner pocket rather than take away functionality. I wish they had a long sleeve liner, be easier to keep the jacket clean by being able to machine or hand wash the liner of the sweat. I am also used to sleeved liners on military jackets.

Was the wayfarer model used in the Miami Vice series a 5022 or 5024? Does the Baunch & Lomb brand still make some sunglasses?

I ordered exactly this pair last year and I had the same issue with the build quality. One arm was loose so I ended up returning it. I just purchased it again yesterday and hopefully there aren't any issues.

I think the cases were made out of leather when they had “made in Italy” stamped on them. I have two pairs from around 2013 and it seems like real leather just not great quality leather
