Thank you so, so, so, so, so much!!! I'm trying to start a t-shirt business but I'm REALLY on a shoestring budget and have been searching for more affordable ways to get DTF prints without spending so much on printing services that of course charge insane shipping rates. Not until now do I think I actually have a chance to get things rolling. Again, thank you so much!
did you start your business? how is it going for you? I'm scared because I actually thought putting money in one machine but I guess that's not the case, I guess it is a couple of them right? specially if you are doing from home ! ( i wanted to start a event ballons/decor business that could incluse t shirts ?
So did you modify your inkjet printer at all ? I'm going to get the Epson XP 15000 do I need to do any maintenance on it to do this DTF hack ? I've watched a lot of videos and they are not clear on if they are using the printer right out the box or not.
Excellent tutorial, amazing. I spent $2600 on a dtf printer and it only lasted 8 months and I didn't use it, money in the trash. Now I see your very important video for me. Thank you
I already commented about this great video. Wanted to emphasize how it’s very straightforward, without a lot of “filler” - right to the point, but easy for a beginner like me. I’d love to see more hacks using inkjet printers!
OMG this is already a great tutorial, and I am on 1:35 seconds .... thank you. You started from the beginning. Little things are so important. Showing and telling that you just printed a picture on the DTF from your printer thank you I know it may had seem most people would have understood that step but NO if you are new to this what you need is what YOU did showed that it was just a picture you liked THANK YOU the little things are what count and you nailed it! Now let me watch the other 6 minutes. Finally someone that explained what CURE means in the process THANK YOU ok back I go to video I love your well this video THANK YOU
Thank you for your video... Ive been debating on buying yet another machine that is very expensive... and with this, I can still print my own images but use this method instead ❤❤❤❤
I am a newbie with dtf printing and I've watched few tutorials but i didn't learn from them so much, but this lady is my idol you made my day, thank you so much.
I love the fact that your explanations are clear and succinct! Alter watching your video, I can now order all the consumables I need in order to DTF print on my Epson inkjet converted into a sublimation printer.
Thank you! Tried for the first time today. The first one, the color Blue did not transfer well. I made sure the second time that I quickly covered with the powder with PLENTY, left it for a little bit longer before shaking off the powder and it turned out great!
@ericrumlin7633 only about 2-3 minutes, but, I think the difference was how quickly I put the powder on which was within 45 seconds. The first one it was probably 4-5 minutes
@@karenbeuchert5908 ty so much much my last two questions is for black or dark shirts is the process the same except for the powder and do we use the same transfer paper
Just tried one and with my custom setting regular ink works better than sublimation and you must put powder on film immediately for epic glossy results
did you use DTF ink, sublimation ink or just normal inkjet printer ink for this??? love the video very straight forward and is your temperature on heat press degrees or farenheit?
Thank you so much. I’ve tried this hack with no success. Your tutorial explains the “curing” before trying to transfer it to the shirt. I’m going to try that. I don’t know if it’s the film I’m using, or the powder that’s causing issues (or just the lack of “curing”). Wonderful video! I’m sharing you with everyone! 🥰❤
@Billy Loomis where can you buy a $300 sublimation printer? The cheapest I've seen is $2,000. Also, yousay this won't work but it clearly does in her video so...
Gurlll you da best ! I thought i needed to spend thousands on equipment n materials to be able to do dtf ! Which is better in your opinion this or sublimation ?
Thank you so much for sharing this video. I was wondering if I could use an ordinary ary iron as I do not have the funds at the moment for a heat press
Yes I figured by watching your videos that the DTF is probably better than the Epson eco tank. Which I have one I just so happen to also have the same canon and didn’t know you could do it the way you did. The colors and everything looked way better with the canon.
I've always used pigment ink for t-shirts because it dries almost immediately so you don't have to worry about smearing & it also washes better. The downside is that the ink isn't as bright as standard inkjet but it's not by much. Not all printers use pigment ink & the one I've always used is Epson because most come with pigment ink but it's best to check the printer model. It may also be known as "archival." I also use it to print everything else I've printed because of the permanence of the ink especially for things like bumper stickers or anything that will get wet; rain etc.
Thanks for this Hack. My question is about your equipment; specifically the circuit heat press. Why do you have the circuit heat press, and the BestSub press? Do they have different applications??? Thanks!
Hi! You're welcome! I review equipment as well, so I have a few presses. Using both allows me not to have to adjust the BetterSub after curing the image. You can see all the presses I have used and or reviewed in my Amazon store, link in description.
Super helpful video for beginner! 😊 I have a question because I’m trying to print something out that has white text. Is there something that I need to do? Because when I printed out my sheet there was no white text 😭 this is my first time trying this lol
I tried this with a Brother inkjet and it did not do well at all. Print was so light and it didn't print the detail of picture at all. So I am wondering does it have to be a certain type of injet printer to get similar results to the DTF hack using the sublimation printer. My Espon f170 does a much better job so far with this hack.
Would the white color of the image show on the darker shirt, especially black? Because the inkjet printer does not use white ink, Also, how does it hold after washing it several times?
Standard inkjet printers are unable to print using white ink, in this example the highlights are just absent of color or not a true white and on a white shirt the "white" is enhanced. Hope that makes sense 😊
this is literally the only helpful video on the internet on this topic

Thank you. I’m new to this whole thing and getting my business started. Didn’t have the cash for a dtf printer so this solution was a life saver
Great video. Without modifying the printer or ink. So the trick is the glossy paper, powder, cure. Hopefully, colors wont fade away after wash.
Have you tried this yet ?
I’ve watched several videos on this and yours is by far the very best. Thank you for this!
