Awesome video. My husband was listening and commented that you were very good at explaining things. Might help when all the product shows up in a few days,,lol.
I also print from Canva as well but I save mine as a PDF print with CMYK colors. This keeps the image size on the paper correct. So when I create my images I use the paper size I’m going to be printing on. This way you don’t have to try to enlarge the image on your printing page.
I tried to do it that way before but I couldn’t get a transparent background, would love to know how you get the image transparent? Thanks for the feedback!
i’m glad i don’t have to use the tape with my transfer paper. All i do is make sure i have some regular plain paper loaded and i drop the transfer in front of that a it goes from there. I have the prison 2800
Hi! Thanks for your video. It’s super detailed and helpful! Do you wait for the picture to cool after curing? Or do you need to press it on the shirt right away?
Thanks for sharing! I have tried this hack on my channel and was not a fan ...I do have some Asub powder, but not the A sub DTF transfer film. I will have to get some and try this hack with your method. Yours look good and vibrant without looking like it is going to wash out. Good video!!
Hey thanks for watching, yes make sure you have the film and the powder, the wash does come out great and I have a wash test video in my playlist. What type ink do you use? Thanks for watching!!!!
What's the hassle with how to put the paper in the printer. That will vary per printer. So take a piece of regelular paper. Put a cross on it with a pen or pencil. Load the paper with the cross up (visible) and print. Then check if the print appears on the same side of the cross or on the opposite side. Now you'll know how to load your printer to print on a specific side.
I have not tried it but I do know that you can press it without curing it if you’re doing it right away but once you place the image down you can’t move it.
ua-cam.com/video/61fro3ZIdc8/v-deo.html Here is the link for how to use canva and also it’s at the end of the video. Also I either will get designs from Etsy or I’ll make them myself.
I’m not sure exactly what you mean but if you’re referring to cutting the sheets then yes you can. Example if my image has a part I don’t like I just cut that part off and press the rest or If you want to cut your image up in sections and then press each piece you can do that as well.
@@Healher_7 Thank you for the clarification about dtf. I'm new to using dtf and I was trying to figure out if I could cut the image in section on dtf and press them together without seeing the slices after I press the image together!
When you get all your settings done do you go ahead and set as preset? With Mac most ppl don’t understand why they aren’t getting those certain options like “PREMIUM PRESENTATION PAPER MATTE” if they hard wire it with the cord, click the + and double click printer than another box appears on the bottom most people’s say (AirPrint) if they toggle down to the name of the printer and hit okay all those missing options will be available.
hey, a did try his hack but my images get like pixalated ,idk how to explain it, i use a Epson printer . when i printed it it's getting out with round tiny pgiments of collors. can you help me a litlle bit?:D
How are you downloading your images after you make or by them? I usually adjust my sizing in canva and then I download it to print out my images. It could just be the size that’s being downloaded.
I am using an Epson Printer with the sublimation ink and I am having tiny pigments of color too. And my images look a little distorted. Like you can see the pixels or something. I printed from Canva by downloading this image.
Thank you, I will cure 2 times,my images do not come out so beautiful,I dont have a heat press still saving for one,I use a heat gun, cant wait to buy myself a heat press,I make aprons and learn now to do images because i must send my aprons always in for it and then my profit do not looks so good.Thank you for uploading your video.
thanks! so when you attach the printing paper like you seen me do in the video, it prints daily quickly. I would have to say it probably took about a min probably a little less. and I only cured it for about 16 sec but I did it twice. With temp wise I put it on 400.
Heeey nice info, got a couple of questions ❓, so I watch the 1st video on how to convert the printer to print dtf and I noticed you didn't say anything about using different ink, also I was wondering can it be done with other printers?
Hello Queen, I have only tried this with the XP15000 and 1 other printer. You do need other ink which will be DTF ink which you can purchase off Amazon. I have Amazon an Amazon link attached to this video of the inks I used.
@@Healher_7I’m a bit confused I saw you say in a video at 1st you were using the dft hack but now you fully converted your xp 15000 to a full dtf printer so I thought the dtf hack could be done with the standard link the xp 1500 comes with without having to customize or convert the printer into a dft printer but from the previous comments it looks like your saying you did use dtf link so I’m confused, this came out so great so why convert to a full dtf printer if the hack works so good? Seeing how your 1500 broke and I see so many comments of the 1500 braking if the dtf hack can be done without converting the printer to a dtf printer that might be a safer method. Thanks for making great videos about this subject
Thanks for watching my video and subscribing! I do have a shirt that has been washed multiple times with the hack and I must say it still holds up pretty nicely!
Instead of curing it twice and using powder again. Maybe you could just cure it twice as long. I don't think it is the powder. It is the curing time. Looks nice.

Hello, thank you for such an amazing video! I am trying this hack out for the first time and I’m noticing that some of my transfer will pull off during the second press. I am using parchment paper and it seems to be sticking and causing to the dtf design and causing this issue. I noticed you don’t use any protective paper (parchment, butcher, Teflon, etc.). Do you recommend pressing it this way? Or have you run into any issues with it getting stuck to your heating plate on your heat press?? Thank you in advance
Yes I did press it twice just to secure the image making sure the whole film was heated. So you can either press it twice at 8 sec or do it once for 15.
@@Healher_7 I was just wonder because you said to press it for a couple of minutes but on the video shows different, lol ! Thank you for your videos, I know it’s hard sometimes to try to do and explain plus record it all at the same time, blessings!
When i have tried this, i get smearing of the ink. My heat press does not come straight down like yours, mine hinges. Im thinking my powder is not getting melted all the way. Anyone try just using a heat gun?
Hello Maggie and thank you for watching my video, you can use a heat gun that would work as well cause all you really need is for the heat to melt the powder. This was happening to me to before I got a new press. Also with the smearing try a different print setting and make sure tape is secured on the paper.

Looks so Good. Kinda like double embossing.
Great idea.
Very nice. I will try coating it twice next time . Thanks for the tip

Can you please tell me what is the type of ink use is it sublimation ink or dtf ink or normal paper ink
Id like to know too!! 😊
She uses Hippo sublimation ink.
So is this safe to wash or will the color come off?
What are your thoughts on curing versus non-curing? Have you tried pressing it to the shirt without curing design?
I have not tried it but I do know that you can press it without curing it if you’re doing it right away but once you place the image down you can’t move it.
You can heat press the flim with out covering with paper? It won’t stick to the press?
I thought same thing

I have a USB connected to my computer from the printer and everytime I go to print it offers me last printing setting as an option.
But I know exactly what you’re talking about, thanks for watching!!!!
Yes, especially with Epson printers you have to print from the USB.
I have the exact same printer, after I print my dtf image it has roll marks. Did you ever ran into that issue ?
I have not had that issue but I’ve had heard of people going through this. There are videos out here to fix it though.
Turned out great! What brand shirt did you use? Looks really soft.
Thank you that was actually just one of target’s shirt there Good Fellow brand. I just used it for the video. 🩷🩷🩷🩷

How does the dtf sub hack work with color shirts?
It doesn’t you only can sub on light colors unless you do the sublimation hack for dark garments.

Yes I did press it twice just to secure the image making sure the whole film was heated. So you can either press it twice at 8 sec or do it once for 15.
