It made me think of being able to sit in a chair… Without being able to use an external reasons like “eating” or “writing an email” etc. Simply being able to sit there. And then going out from there to build a great life.

I followed Bishop Barron after listening to this. Only part of the way through now but what comes to mind is a discussion Socrates had pointing out that writing weakens memory and "offers the appearance of wisdom without true understanding". It “continues to signify just the same thing forever” He suggests that “living and breathing discourse" leads to genuine wisdom and happiness .
