Definitely not against the sea dragon which is when you'll hear this most often (the rest just get fooled by decoys, seamoth torpedoes and patrol routes before they can cause enough damage) but with the sea dragon you're trapped down there with it and it never stops attacking unless you outrun it somehow

Hull reinforcement, multiple if you want. LET IT grab you, then carve its brain out with the drill arm. With the hull reinforcement you can withstand about 2 or 3 attacks and still be able to walk away to repair.

I had already built the Neptune rocket and was ready to beat the game... but first I went and built another PRAWN suit (because I didn't want to destroy my main one), made a bunch of vortex and gas torpedoes, built 2 torpedo arms, equipped 4 hull reinforcement modules, and headed towards the dunes... I'm pretty sure you know what I did next.

It probably scans around every so often, and if an area seems dangerous, it will warn you. It probably doesn't warn you about the mountains because if you stay on the surface of the water, you will probably be fine.
Can I say how fucking cool that PDA line is? It seems so out of character yet seems so in character as well. The PDA is a robot yet seems so human to ask you that if it’s worth it to adventure down in this area. It sounds like even the PDA is scared of them and knows how dangerous they are which makes leviathans sound so much more terrifying.
I haven't played subnautica in six months because of the Reaper, and this resurgence of subnautica videos, OSTs and fun facts are making me want to start the game over

It probably scans around every so often, and if an area seems dangerous, it will warn you. It probably doesn't warn you about the mountains because if you stay on the surface of the water, you will probably be fine.

God I love the Subnautica soundtrack. This is an absolute banger!! Especially with the added PDA bits!
Can I say how fucking cool that PDA line is? It seems so out of character yet seems so in character as well. The PDA is a robot yet seems so human to ask you that if it’s worth it to adventure down in this area. It sounds like even the PDA is scared of them and knows how dangerous they are which makes leviathans sound so much more terrifying.
I haven't played subnautica in six months because of the Reaper, and this resurgence of subnautica videos, OSTs and fun facts are making me want to start the game over
I remember when I first got that PDA and I quickly said "NOPE" And backed up my sea moth so fast!
