Cricky Peter I can hear the EXCITEMENT in your voice, I think your HEART is big then " FAR LAP " a famous race horse from Australia. Aussie Aussie Aussie GDAY MATE from brisbane Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
I guess some trees backbud better than others ! I would love to reduce a in ground maple fro 3.5 feet to 2.5 feet . But I’ve had no luck when the branch is about an inch !
I will be doing the same thing over the next week..I'm collecting from several banks and one private residence some older plant materials for my bonsai projects..you are quite an inspiration for so many.
Sawzall/reciprocating-saw works excellent for getting in the soil and cutting big roots (as well as thick branches/trunks). The replacement blades are cheap too.
Yes sri cutting trees in house because very beat good well just picture zone house speaker Boehner natural geography cutting outside because tall biggest supporters erth water child because see no cutting outside ho my God no beautiful things tree 🌲🥰🥰
Yes indeed. I had that bush for 36 years and it never occurred to me to make this into a bonsai. But there is a time to do it. Age has helped give it the character.
Soo happy I found this video and could see this beautiful Exochorda. It is truly a piece of art, nature’s art. Just beautiful, and you cut it perfectly. What a joy it must be to have all these beautiful trees on your property. Thank you for sharing your videos and expertise.
Mr Chan, please🙇 inform me if these trees that were pruned always received fertilization? Sir, I ask you please🙇 an update on these ancient trees that were used for bonsai: did they take root in the pot? thank you🙇 very🙇 much... there is a lot of courage😲 in pruning old trees and using them for bonsai... without first doing air layering😲...
Yes we could have the best equipment and best camera crew but will it capture the spontaneity that you get when you record something on the spur of the moment??
Hi Peter, Just finished revision a poem I just wrote about the Autumn Season. Hope you enjoy it. “Autumn” By David Z There is a sound of silence as the song birds left for their winter home. Autumn has arrived as the leafs changes its colors to signify winter is on its way. I can feel the stuff cool breeze hollowing through the maple tree as the last two leafs detached themselves from their branches as they flutter to the ground. Autumn is that time of the year where we give thanks to our abundance harvest that we had been bless with. I love Autumn as I wait with anticipation to celebrate the birth of Christ. That is what I love about Autumn. Have a blessed Autumn Season, Peter. 🙏🙏🙏
Formidable future specimens for sure, just need time and some TLC. Thx for sharing Peter 👍

Super excited Peter….thats going to be something special. Chainsaw heaven!! 🇬🇧
The chainsaw is just a tool - in the old days one would use an axe or sickle or whatever comes to hand. The chainsaw does make life a bit easier.

I’ve read enough manga to know when an Asian man is enjoying himself enough to have blush circles under his eyes irl 😊
One can feel the passion through the video screen.. 👍

There is no foliage left on the tree? How will it grow back? Amazing trunk though
I'd love to have some of those airlayers you made just to trim those big trees. If you ever need to know of a good home , I'll be that
Thank you, Sir. “When your heart tells you it is right”

Adorei lindos bonsai parabéns Saudações do Brasil .
I always find it amazing what nature creates and we humans spend so much time trying to copy. I can’t wait to see what that beautiful trunk turns into
At the end it reminded me of the Venus de Milo sculpture. Very nice!! 🌱🪴🍃

I think a good title for this video would be "Bonsai From the Most Unexpected Places and Plants" @ 1:05

In my honest opinion as drastic as people might think it is, the tree looks so much more beautiful in its bonsai form
