    I'm not really excited with the presentation style of the Defense Attorney but the quality of the substantive CONTENT of her Opening Statement is impressive. She's certainly done her homework and thoroughly destroyed the prosecution's evidence and timelines with logical explanations.

      I just saw an article about how he signaled his daughter to stop talking by putting his fingers on his closed lips. I hope the Judge addresses it. His poor daughter.

    I heard on tv that this judge does not do pre-trial motions. He decides as the trial goes along what's allowed or not. No wonder it's so lengthy.

      Nonsense. You can’t have a trial without pretrial motions. You are probably referring to a particular time when he threw out both side’s motions regarding the same subject.

      It’s not that he doesn’t do pretrial motions, it’s that on some of them, he reserves his decision, unless, and until the matter actually comes up at trial

    I think the defense is pretty good at asking the right questions and objecting (figuring out ahead if the question where the prosecution is going.) I just want her to put the “t” (like t e a) back in her words.

      Not exactly. He's charged with killing a man and hiding his body (or body parts).. Paul Flores just convicted for killing Kristin S. 25 years after she went missing, she's never been found. Also the guy in Cali, his wife missing for 2 years, never been found. It's not so uncommon these days. Probably harder to convict though.

      It’s one thing to say the state didn’t prove Zach is guilty. I don’t agree, but I think a reasonable person can get there. To say he isn’t dead… you have to be brain dead to think he is still alive.
