    Would love to see some (non TTS) gameplay!

    Hey Quack! Been binging some of your videos as of late, loving it!
    When you do a sponsored video it would be best to say it (or show it) in the video itself, because that always affects how one perceives your opinions.
    Showing it only on your description is easy for your watchers, as myself, to miss!

      What opinion in this video?

    • @seffur3178
      @seffur3178 3 роки тому

      @@successfulgeek true, my mistake. Still, covering it while not covering other board games says something. If I see Jesse post 2 videos, with a little better production than usual, on a single game, I instinctively think it sparked his interest or is something to pay attention to. When I see it's a sponsored video that reaction is totally different. Not trying to instigate anything, just trying to help out for the sake of more transparency

      @@seffur3178 I don't think Rodney Smith discloses on all videos he is paid to create does he?

    • @successfulgeek
      @successfulgeek 3 роки тому

      @@seffur3178 Looks like he mentions it very briefly but I missed it and the setting that Jesse turned on that has the little popup on the video to me is more obvious.

      @seffur3178 3 роки тому

      @@successfulgeek yeah, that disclosure didn't pop up for me, that's why I didn't even consider it being a sponsored video. It's all good, I was just mentioning it for transparency sake, not trying to make it seem like he was being dishonest in any way. Have a good one!

    As a huge OG Solforge fan (blew hundreds on it a decade ago, lol), I am very down to trying this out.

    Am I the only one that thinks the art/Templates look outdated, not downing the game just something I thought.

    I know your working with a prototype but I think it's 30 cards per half deck, 10 per level for a total of 61 cards counting the Forgeborn.

    So it's like KeyForge + SmashUp, kinda cool!

    I played the original Solforge game on steam and I really enjoyed that game. I've been waiting for the game to make a comeback but these added features as well as making it a physical game is honestly something I don't think I'll enjoy. If I get the chance, I will try it out however.

      Apparently the designer is hoping to create a digital app for gameplay that also allows one to scan their physical decks (similar to Pokemon online).

    Hey quack! Which do you prefer and had more fun with it? Solforge fusion or siege storm siege mode? :)

    Codex without the binders and unique benefits for the individual lanes? Also could be a bit of a cash cow to have significant replayability... Backed it, but may not get much more than the starter stuff. We'll see how it plays when I get it

    To keep the game going, do you have to search for the upgraded cards right after you play the card or can you wait until you pass the turn to dig for them?

    So this is a game where you build your deck before unlike a deck builder?

    • @farkhad126
      @farkhad126 3 роки тому +1

      Correct, these games are typically classified as either debt construction or debt crafting to help differentiate them from deck building

      To be fair, there is no actual deck building or deck construction? It's just mixing 2 decks together like Smashup or MTG Jumpstart.

    How do leveled up enter the game?

    • @Quackalope
      @Quackalope  Рік тому

      After you use a card and it gets destroyed it levels up into the discard pile. Then when you draw up new cards they will eventually be shuffled in and drawn.

    • @thegamesninja3119
      @thegamesninja3119 Рік тому

      @Quackalope from what I saw in play, non destroyed creatures can have their leveled up version enter the game.
