In all honesty? Here's my advice as a veteran from the DS days of this game... After getting enough to purchase the two Mastery rings & maybe the max number of Jonathan's sub weapons, I would recommend AGAINST buying anything else from the shop, especially gear. I've played this game to death back on the DS, and I can tell you right now that during your journey, even if you aren't actively trying, you're going to run across weapons & armor. Lots. Especially armor. But if you use the gold glitch to get enough gold to fully upgrade [inventory expands based on gold spent, iirc] & basically buy out everything from the shop immediately, you'll find out fast that a lot of the things you run across, during the early game, won't be as good as what you bought, which will take away from the feeling of discovery you'd otherwise get by exploring & using what you find or earn from slain foes. Basically, what I'm saying is don't cheat your way out of a good chunk of the game's enjoyable gear progression. Get the rings because skill grinding is annoyingly slow, sure, but you'll have more FUN if you make sure that at least SOME of the stuff you find as you go is actually useful to you. Having the Holy Claymore right after the first painting sounds great, after all, until you come across cool gear like the Nebula whip & realize it's just not comparable damage-wise to what you Scrooge Mc-Ducked your way into.
I recommend getting the Holy Claymore in addition to this guide's recommendations, which has a whopping +10 int. on it. Jonathan's sub-weapon skills work of the int. stat, making that shuriken even more devastating. It's also both Slash and Holy element, which is great as a back-up option when your MP is low.
@@ThreeMinuteGaming Fun fact about PoR's shop; the inventory is based on how much gold you spend. You can have the Holy Claymore pretty much after the first painting if you wish.
If you're not playing the European version of the game then my guess is you're pressing Start one message too early. You have to push A one more time until it displays the name of the item you're receiving, THEN press start. This is clearly demonstrated and verbally explained in the video, but maybe you didn't have three minutes.
@@ThreeMinuteGaming I'm not aware of the potion glitch, but seeing as the console versions still support the touch screen via the right stick & ZR shoulder button, I would imagine it will still work.
Perfect timing, I just beat dawn of sorrow and was gonna start this

Thank you! I'm glad they're helpful! :D
Really cool to see new videos being uploaded for these games!
Is there a glitch to stop Johnathan from saying "No problemo"?
Thanks! Love the not here to waist your time. Had to drop a like and comment just for that.

Yeah absolutely worth grabbing! In my run I got a lucky final sword drop so I ended up skipping the claymore

Gimme that sweet sweet cash
It does work in the EU version
Vincent does not have The feather gear when can I get it?
Unlocks as you buy stuff if you get one or two master rings it should show
@@ThreeMinuteGaming Thank You. it did. I appreciate you
The glitch is not working for me. What did I do wrong?

Does the infinite potion glitch still work?
I don't know sadly. Since the glitch used the touch screen and I have the PS5 version not the Switch I just didn't bother trying it out.

@@ThreeMinuteGaming does the touch feature can be done on ps portal?

Sure! I'll try and have something out later today!
