I absolutely love the Igorot culture. A subculture so separate from the low lands with a proud people. Baguio is an amazing mix of Igorot, Filipino and American culture all harmonized. It's also one of the cleanest cities in the country and traffic laws are actually obeyed. Highly highly recommend this city if you visit the Philippines.

I used to feel cold in Baguio when I was a child but after going to a colder country where snow is a part of life, Baguio temperatures is my cup of tea. Just a normal breezy day.
Its overcrowded, polluted and not that cold really. It was beautifull in the past but right now.... and by the way if you are coming or any tourist, expect a heavy traffic everywhere.
I live in Baguio, it doesn't reallly that beautiful. It's overcrowded, traffic, and you can't really see that much nature. And it's not really that cold (for me only I guess since I've been living here my whole life maybe I just go used to it)
Baguio City has the latest tourist attraction: The Igorot Stone Kingdom. I was there early this month with my nephew, his family, his cousin and my daughter. Beautiful, cool city ....studied in a university there so many years back ...

Baguio City is only one of the cold places in the Philippines, the entire northern mountainous area is having the same temperature, in fact temperature in Sahara and Bontoc can drop lower. That place you went to for the strawberries is not a part of Baguio but a municipality of Benguet called La Trinidad. Baguio is an independent city inside Benguet.

Baguio is considered one of the coldest place in the tropical region. Not sure the only lowest temperature of Baguio is 5.6 degrees celsius in 1960s but it is possible that it got below 0 degrees celsius even before.

Those taxi vans are called AUVs. I think Baguio is the only city in the Philippines to offer taxis that are not dominated by sedans. The purpose is mainly to conquer the steep areas easier

im from the province of bagiuo, in la trinidad and its really nice to see the place that i grew up in represented for once. in bagiuo people are more fluent in english because americans heavily colonized bagiuo and the provinces, we have a very distinct english accent that i dont think many of my peers actually realized.
In a country in South East Asia where the normal temp is around 30-36°C on daytime and would only drop around 25°C on 3-4 o'clock in the morning then 8°C is what we consider really cold :3.. but I know its just a piece if cake for people from the northern hemispheres hehe.

Baguio is considered one of the coldest place in the tropical region. Not sure the only lowest temperature of Baguio is 5.6 degrees celsius in 1960s but it is possible that it got below 0 degrees celsius even before.
Head to Sagada you'd be kissing the clouds literally.
there are colder towns in the Philippines. There are places north of Baguio that get below freezing and experience frost every winter

On the Border Benguet-Mountain Province-Nueva Viscaya. Its very cold.

I went to Baguio a couple of times already and I usually wear shorts and short sleeved shirts because I experience more cold in my room with aircon.
You should try Sagada, then.

Those taxi vans are called AUVs. I think Baguio is the only city in the Philippines to offer taxis that are not dominated by sedans. The purpose is mainly to conquer the steep areas easier
Back in the days, we call it FX, short for Toyota's Tamaraw FX as most AUVs back then uses that model.

It's like the country of Ecuador which lies in the supposedly hottest path of the equator. Because of high elevation, they are covered with cold heavenly clouds but the sunshine is hot as the sun is near than rest of the earth.

Baguio is one big traffic jam regularly. Air quality in the center is the worst in the whole of Philippines according to measurements.

I lived in Baguio all my life, but for clarification purposes some of the places you featured here in the video are from the Benguet province specifically the Municipality of La Trinidad which is just a 30 min drive by Jeepney from Baguio.

im from the province of bagiuo, in la trinidad and its really nice to see the place that i grew up in represented for once. in bagiuo people are more fluent in english because americans heavily colonized bagiuo and the provinces, we have a very distinct english accent that i dont think many of my peers actually realized.

In a country in South East Asia where the normal temp is around 30-36°C on daytime and would only drop around 25°C on 3-4 o'clock in the morning then 8°C is what we consider really cold :3.. but I know its just a piece if cake for people from the northern hemispheres hehe.

I actually live in Philippines Baguio ngl I promise even in buenget they make vegetables there and send it to palengke the market in Philippines.And it's a relaxing place to I have seen korean, American Tourist Ppl and lots more, Baguio is a nice place and wonderful❤ and we actually speak ilokano too❤.
