- This 75mm turbo Evo is a serious street machine! Rocking big Mickey Thompson slicks all around to grip and go, this guy put the hurt on the big block nitrous Volvo in this feature! We love seeing unique cars, and a 4G63 powered Evo 3 with a giant turbo is definitely up our alley! This Evo advances to round 2 of the Stockholm Open by taking out the big block powered Volvo in the next lane! To add to the drama, the Swedish police show up RIGHT when these racers are about to take off! With lights flashing, the traffic building, and the growing amount of spectators, this made for one HELL of a show! Such a close finish to this race!

+Todd Rich According to a comment someone else left, in Sweden they can't arrest the spectators and they can only arrest the racers if they are still in the drivers seat if they catch up to them.

+Wiikendz Yes but that's the problem, they can't prove it unless they got their face on picture while it's happening or if they get caught while driving. After that the police then have to prove exactly how fast they're going which they wont be. So worst case scenario they'll get slapped with driving an unregistered and not insured car.

+Todd Rich ...And to me, there's nothing wrong about what they do. The government should organize some road block for the racers. And I don't even race. But it would be way better for everybody's security and it will cost less for the government (no cops patrolling for those events).
That's the most awesome place street racing events occur in this world.

Infelizmente na maioria das vezes no Brasil estamos restringidos a preparar poucas opções de motores, e na grande maioria l4 :(

Speedhunters did an article of this a while back. they said that because of the laws there the cops cant arrest spectaculars. and the racers can only be arrested if they ae caught sitting in the driver sit. they explained it better in the article they did.

+Tyler Dowd Cops in sweden have no power if your car can out run them. They literally have to Pull you over and catch you in the drivers seat. doesnt matter if they get your plate # or not. Law in Sweden states that they have to be able to prove it was you in the driver seat. Thats why most of the cops don't bother going after high end cars, they just run

+supermax7720 the roads are curved sideways because of the snow in winter and melt the snow / water in the spring, when they do a burnout the cars goes sideways, so people are holding the cars straight. (sorry for bad spelling and grammar)

Wrong car to say that. 90 percent of Evo owners do not launch their cars at higher RPMS due to the transfercase being VERY weak especially on Evos. They are known to blow up stock...and even the Shep trans too. Also AWD cars are harder to launch(more stress on transmission components)but overall RWD cars are the faster drag cars, but 60 foot times still go to the AWD monsters.
+That Car Guy actually no they don't 60 foot times are an EASY win for RWD's even the quickest GTR only 60's like a street driven low 8 sec rwd in street trim
***** Most AWD cars that are built I see run 1.3's quite commonly... I go to irwindale where I see a lot of the AWD guys and what they run. Most 8 second RWD cars run 1.5+ 60.

***** Please post a time slip of your friends car.... It doesn't run 1.55. I never said ET? "Noob term" ??? What? AWD cars do not have good top ends. Most are short geared. Put the crack pipe down. AWD cars generally have better 60 foot times, they get out of the hole quicker and then around 3-4th gear they drop off and are like a boat due to all the weight of the transfer case and extra differential. Like I said in the post above RWD cars are the faster drag cars, but AWD cars still have those 60 foot times. Fanboy all you want.
