The batteries are located in the back of the T4 thermostat so you have to detach it from the wall plate or table stand, depending on what it is mounted to. You do this by sliding the thermostat in an upwards direction to the wall plate or pulling the stand in a downwards direction. I hope that helps?

Great video on the subject. Can anyone assist with a query please.
Once the desired temp. has been reached the flame icon goes out and combi boiler shuts down after a few minutes as expected. (e.g room temp 18, stat. Temp 18) after about 3-4 minutes the flame icon comes back on again and boiler starts up but room temp display is still 18.. after 2 mins the flame icon goes out again/boiler shutdown as expected and still room temp display is 18.
This continues in a loop.

Hi Dan, your gas boiler is oversized and the only way to maintain stable air temperature in your home is to stop and start the boiler (otherwise your home would overheat). This is called ‘TPI control’. There are some details online if you Google search this.

how to change a program on this thing? as soon as we adjust a program to our liking it changes working program to a next one in the list. so as soon as program 1 is changed to our hours, program 2 becomes a working program and so on.

The EVOHOME Shop thank you, but no it doesn’t explain anything. It is very unclear. In which section does it say how to chose which a program? For example now program 1 is running now but I want program 4 to start running. How do I do it?

Sounds like its faulty? You shouldn't hear any audible noise.

@@MWPHS Its worked ok for over a year, I use it on manual, since I don't have regular routine and don't need a lot of heating. I actually think it may be affected by signals from my next door neighbour, who has the same system and is only a wall away. It makes the noise when switching on and off. Really I'm not hugely bothered by it though!

@@MWPHS the noise seems to come from the cupboard with the boiler. I.e. the receiver part. Also I may be hearing my neighbour's as well!
