Superb first walk for your mate. The ridge of Black Hill is a fantastic way to start - great views into my home county Herefordshire. It's actually the highest point in Southern England. Ah, the Bluff - an iconic top around here. Yeah, the views of the North Western escarpment are grand. Good going. Mark
Cheers Mark, I didn't want to take him on too hard a walk to put him off. Absolutely stunning views along the whole route (when the weather allowed it!). Still annoyed I forgot to clear my SD card as the storm was amazing!

Cheers mate, had to make the decision to wait the storm out, it did pass right overhead just as we got above the tree line. But I love how the weather can change the views, bringing a different type of beauty to the landscapes!
