One of the routines I did when I first began was putting a red close to each pocket and you need to pot all 6. For a beginner that doesn't understand position that can be hard enough.
Great video, straight to the point with lots of exercises that seem very beneficial. Can't see much more practice that you'd need to do! Apart from maybe escaping snookers with 1 red on with the colours from 1, 2, 3, 4 cushions etc. Thanks!
I’m going to try 14 but a slight variation - pot the colours but when you get to the black, replace the colours and play the black to get position on the yellow and go again from yellow through to black yellow. Gives you practise at getting from black to yellow in a frame situation. Great video BFL!!
Love your videos. Both you and Steve Barton have improved my game 10 fold over the last couple of years. Have you ever thought of going to cue school and give it a go at being a pro?
That was really good what you've done here I think the different levels of hardness and existing too. I also like the numbers you made with the balls along the way.
Hi, Sajjad From Sydney Australia. Really like your videos. Always try to apply your techniques to improve my break building. Thanks. Very hard the John Higgins practice....
Really useful practice routines there ,I think the final practice routine should be spreading all the reds round ,maybe with two reds below the blue with colours on their spots then trying to make a break ,this simulates a game and tests your position .Making a hundred is always the goal doing this .Doing this with the earlier practice routines you did should really help with position and seeing where you are and how you improve .
great training methodology, I will sincerely follow this method! I'm from São Luís - Maranhão- Brazil and here we play at much smaller tables and with very tight mouths, game with millionaire bets. I'm a beginner and this video iea help me ! 🤑💣💥
@@Breakfromlife Oh that’s a shame, my snooker partner and a very dear friend coincidentally asked you the same question yesterday! We would be willing to drive to you? Maybe it could be part of one of your videos? We seem to struggle with our breaks after we hit the thirties, both been playing for a long time - me 25+ years and Mark 40+ years , we would love some advice and help.. have a serious think ? 👍🏻
icould spend hours doing these routines as they look like real challenging fun, but i think i would need to hire a ball person first as this is the only thing thatd put me off beginning in the first place lol
I think i could make much better breaks but my biggest problem at the moment is, that my current snookerroom is to small. Sometimes i cant even stand correctly to aim and stuff… now i am working on a new room and hope that it will help to improve
Boa noite ,seu trabalho é fantástico pena que não tem tradução para português Brasil , faça um video falando de qual ponteira ou sola você usa qual é a melhor
Some great practice routines there. However, I was very surprised to hear a suggested target of 50 consecutive blacks off the spot for the first routine - isn't that target getting close to what professionals would get?
Ever think your a good player , but your not , that's me , man says pot 50 blacks in a row , i can't pot 4 lol , love the content , aspire to play like you one day
Hi Steve I'll practice this every day today onwards... Thank you

I was up super late tonight, so I'm glad to have made it to your video so quickly!

Was looking forward to my favourite level...Level 42 😎 Anyway...great vid!!!! As always ❤
To be honest, I think just being able to hit the black off the spot twice in the first one is enough of a challenge for me.
Same for me mate 🤣
And yet you still beat me the other day 🤦♂️
To get a score of 50 of the spot is great for me

Do you have a video on table geometry? Angles, billiards shots etc?
Not yet but it’s an idea
I bet that these work if players practicc them! Great to see how much more challenging J Higgins' routine is than all the others! 😂
I think i could make much better breaks but my biggest problem at the moment is, that my current snookerroom is to small. Sometimes i cant even stand correctly to aim and stuff… now i am working on a new room and hope that it will help to improve
The last one you showed is diabolical.

In a match when we are in break building area to clear the table, how to know which red balls should be potted initially
Será que um dia, nessa vida, vou conseguir praticar em alto nível...🎱
This is the best channel on snooker. Thank you for the videos. Greetings from Trivandrum, India. Can I get a pin?
Bro, you are very good at playing snooker. I think you should go for world snooker tournament. I want to see playing with Ronnie
I have been doing the spotted blacks routine on and off for a couple of weeks now and I think I am yet to pass double figures. 😅
This is amazing Elisha from India

Ffs i cant stop watching these videos lol. Also I could murder a game of snooker
Lol how long did it take to do number 2 in one go? Just wondering I know you could have done it first time 😉
I think I did was in a rush to get them done so didn’t have much time to get things wrong
6:06 I thought you were going to suggest going from black to yellow since that's a common shot anyway
Hello plzz bro play a match against any player in a club or invite him to your house
