When you talk about rotating the cue, I've not tried this as of yet. But I've always wondered if you rotate the cue on delivery, this gains more spin as the tip is in contact more with ball. Maybe something you could try on a video, also acceleration not speed is the key to spin too, so these both in tandem could be the winning combo. No, when you rotate the tip, more power lost occur compare to typical stroke. The importance there was being consistent is far more important than being perfect.
