Kayla Thomas I am absolutely at her disposal to help her learn if she wishes. It'll have to be a left-hand drive, but as long as she wears a skirt it should be fine.
The next Tardis interior went back to the metal floor with grill/holes. I guess the Doctor had to weigh the dangers of people vomiting on the circuitry under the console and up-skirting companions.
Love how at the beginning of this Rory is pulling the Doctor in to tease Amy. It shows how instead of Rory just tagging along with Amy in the Tardis, the Doctor and him are friends now too
well Rory was standing under the console helping the doctor and Amy was standing on the floor and it is made of glass so Rory must have looked up to ask the doctor something and looked up Amy’s skirt
"Why do I have to get slapped?" "Because we have to stick to the established chain of events. One mistake and the time stream could collapse" One mistake, so if Rory doesn't get slapped time could fall apart. That is an amazing concept. According to doctor who's version of how time works, events and choices YOU make cause and hold time. By that logic, time is not it's own entity, it is controlled by beings in the universe. You actions govern time, as if anything conscious dictates time. We shape time instead of time shading us. Think about that. That is a bold bold and uncomprehendable concept (at least to me). It's almost as if WE manufacture time instead of time being a natural result of the universes existence. Which makes conscious beings the most powerful forces in the universe if you think about it. Doctor who is genius. Either that or I'm just crazy.
Survante Williams Old comment, but responding anyway because why not. In a way we do "shape" time. We define measurements of time based on personal details, our basis of time has absolutely no true point of reference for the universe. While we might say time is real because stuff is happening in a certain order, in reality, we define time based on imaginary rules. So in a way, time isn't real.
Now, you think the concept of the TARDIS materialising inside itself is a brilliant concept never done before, right? Wrong! It happened when the Third Doctor fought the First Master back in 1972. Then, of course, the Doctor's TARDIS materialised inside The Master's TARDIS. Moffat just took that cool idea and switched it up a little bit so it's funny and clever. Say what you want, but I think Steven Moffat is amazing at writing 'Who' mini-episodes.
I miss Eleven, Amy & Rory. They all had great chemistry with each other. I do enjoy the new episodes, but not as much as I liked these three together...
Yeah, But the majority of the writing during matt smiths time was garbage, makes me hate watching the 11th even though he's a great and hilarious actor.
so the doctor says the TARDIS lands in the safest space available and then discovers she's materialised inside herself, now that's what I call vanity lol
Infinate police boxes...Ok say it did fit like In flatline it got smaller it would actually have another box going out the exterior and another out that one and so on like pointing a mirror at a mirror.... untill it leaves the Tardis fully then all the boxes would separate and It would blow up.
Kind of fitting that when he met his mother-in-law, she brought him a towel to dry off from the pool, cooked him dinner, then asked him to do some home repairs.
Rory made the rookie mistake of looking up Amy's skirt.... Accidentally dropping the thermal coupling and making it known right away that Amy's Skirt + Glass Floor = Disaster.
Never noticed that clever bit of writing before. "We're entering conceptual space." i.e. it's not really there? That's why the TARDIS materialised inside itself. All the space surrounding it was conceptual and so it couldn't find a landing spot to lock on to. Moffat's story arcs may not be 10/10, but his attention to detail is very good.
"...oohhhh, RORY!!!" ahahaha this is when i really and truly began to love Rory, even more than i had before :D he's handsome, adorable, loyal, protective, kind, and now freaking hilarious too :D
This is why this is my favourite TARDIS set, even if the current one had a glass floor, there's no way there'd be enough room to pull this off. This is the TARDIS that's truly bigger on the inside.
I love these minisodes. Moffat can sneak a lot of cheeky one liners and dirty jokes in. Brilliant! Rory saying "sorry" or when the Doctor asks him what he'd do with 2 Amys and he opens his mouth and Amy slaps him 😂😂
Hold on a second. When the Doctor goes into the police box here, he comes out through the TARDIS door at the same time. But then when they start going into the box later, they come out into the TARDIS interior a few seconds into their past...
I wonder though, if the tardis materializes inside itself, then did the tardis just disappeared from the universe? Did the tardis went somewhere beyond the universe itself?
That TARDIS exists in it's own dimension therefore it simply exists in a different dimension, except this dimension just happens to have a door to itself
