      played it 3x in PT today. Nice to see a new OPS map but need teamwork & high ROF guns

      MTB's 1st. Crusiers hang back to B9. Atlanta's a good option.
      Troop ships arrive at B9 in 2 groups, surrounded by DD's. Save as many, quickly, landing at H9, but coastal batteries and planes await them. Good Luck, not easy...

      Airstrike makes short work of mines in the path of troopships. This demo is worth the time to study.

    Whatever. Not going to waste my time.
    'Fun' is not had by constantly being swamped, guns that won't damage targets, and enemies you can't see shooting at you.

    Funny enough, I found out that West Virginia isn’t the best Battleship in the operation. The more suitable accurate bombardment like Queen Elizabeth and Battlecruiser Rooke does better job as a BB. Yes, you are totally useless against smaller boats, but I found out that let the CL and DDs did the killing is better. BBs are shore bombardment focus. Those Fortifications are durable AF. Plus, your secondaries are not that useful and only see the usefulness when your team are all dead. Yes, CAs are very useless in this operation. You are too slow to reload and too big to do anything useful. Smaller ships like CLs and DDs does better job due to better ROF and mobility. And most CLs have good AA. Oh, and please play DDs. They are the best at clearing mines. Jarvis pretty much the best ship to use, because it have self defense Hydro. Plus Jarvis have good rate of fire with great shell velocity and have 10 mines drop. Make sure you have Depth Charges Mod1 for 2 extra charges. You need atleast 2-3 Depth Charges run to clear the Mine Zone. AND PLEASE CLEAR THE MINES. BBs hates these and these things greatly slows them down which is a bad thing, to add on more insult as these are Tier VII means BBs are pretty slow in general. So you are making yout BBs going even slower which lead to chaos in the long run. Depth Charges does clear mines more effective than air strike, they have better explosion radius than airstrike. So please clear the mines BBs and BCs will love you for that. We need more DDs players like you. Trust me, your roles is as important as BBs does. Because Mine Sweeping is very important to landing ships. CLs are okay, they are great ship hunters. That’s all about it. Destroying Torps Boat and dealing with enemy DDs the rest of the role maybe Spotting Fortifications and support BBs, provide AA guns. Tbh, all ships have their roles. Do the ROLES working as a Fleet. Don’t be total Unicum. That’s how you’ll lose the operations.
