Personally, I like Halland and Dalarna as "Area Denial Boats" so I keep "Radio Location"
Line 1 : Liquidator & Preventive Maintenance
Line 2 : Last Stand
Line 3 : Fill the tubes, Adrenaline Rush & Survivability Expert
Line 4 : Radio Location & Concealment

I personally prefer gunboats especially because of the reason you described- the enemy team just running away. A Halland or Shima will mald, while a Smaland or Delny can just chase them and burn them to death.
I live in Dalarna (which is a province in Sweden) and it’s really fun and nice to hear not Swedish speakers pronounce it! Keep up the good work 😃❤️

We must retaliate by purposefully mispronouncing north american ships. Like pronouncing every letter in Des Moines and Worcester ("Dess moy ness" and "Woor kester") or pronounce Chester like "Kester" (since that's the sound "Che" makes in words like "Chemistry") to name but a few examples. :D
Almost 40K Subs!!! Have several Super Ships and don't feel they are worth the cost/service fees... Tier X works just fine for me...

Most games now have CVs and Subs in them; it is hard to blame BBs for not pushing. I am DD main and do my best to deal with Subs, but often end up dying myself if the Sub player is half decent.

Those heavier torps should be on the Halland too.
Then how would they justify Dalarna being a "super" ship? Sad but true.
Can somebody tell me why the current brawl is only for Tier X CVs? How tf do you brawl in an Aircraft Carrier, Wargaming? Hello?
Just take M. Richthofen, do Secondary/AA Build, drive on straight forward into the cap.
1. Take rocket planes, accelerate and drop fighters.
2. Take Torp Bombers, accelerate and drop your fighters on the way + armament on the enemy cv.
3. Head back to your CV and use your AA sector priorisation since now the enemy planes are there.
Repeat Step 1-3 and occasionaly change the squadrons around since you also have AP bombers.
BUT don´t use your rocket planes, because in the end he has no plane reserves (or only a small amount that gets shot down directly after he launched it) but you have still your rocket planes.
You will reduce the enemy cv´s plane amounts and since this brawl doesnt last long even Malta can´t produce enough planes. When you are in secondary range he has no planes left and for you it doesnt matter if you have planes or not bc your 10.4 km secondary just shreds him. But if you are doing everything right you have a full amount of rocket planes + secondary build and he has in most cases no plane reserves and shit secondary.
To be fair, the caps are kinda useless, since you can´t even fully cap one of them. But overall i would say it´s a better "brawl" than the last one with 2 Salems, 2 Petros and 1 Stalingrad on each team just siiting on the islands.
Get a team of MvR and charge into the fray

I don't expect you to pronounce the names in the native tongue but why do you call it Venice when it is named Venezia? It can't be hard (even for an American) to say ve-ne-ci-a

granted, dalarna is a "supership", but there are so many t10 dd's that outclass gearing these days. maybe we can get a heal on gearing to modernize it a bit? WG? no?
It was when gearing was the only gunboat DD :D, It was so much fun back then, especially with stealth firing
Personally, I don't like the Dalarna because she doesn't fit the development of the line.
If you look at the japanese torp DDs there is an increase of amount of torpedos/range of the torpedos/damage of the torpedos, so logically Yamagiri gets more torps.
The US CA line: Getting up the line you get a faster reload/better range. Annapolis gets an extra turret and an alternative firing mode.
On every other line I can use my T10 commander on the supership to make best use of the supership.
Along comes Dalarna. Pan-EU DDs are known for highspeed, fast reloading torps, so following the line you get faster/more/higher range torps. But instead of getting faster torps, more torps or faster reloading torps you get an extra turret??? If I want to make best use of Dalarnas "gimmick" I have to retrain my commander for a more gunboat focused DD. I don't understand why WG thought that the line would suddenly be heading in this direction at T11.
Agreed. A third torpedo launcher would’ve been a far more logical step up from the Halland.
Yamagiri having more torpedoes doesn't change much because the torpedoes on the far edges can't both hit the same target unless you're absurdly close. But Halland torpedoes? The super narrow spread and high speed means you hit a lot. If they went for more torpedo power, it would devastate ships, so they went with guns instead.
And to be honest, Yamagiri's main improvement is actually the guns as well.
you do get se torp gemmick, of some high damage once, only use them when i yolo. but your base reload is also better
Dalarna is pronounced a bit slower and it meens "vally, Canions" It's swedish
ikr, people really like to spec it as main gun, i know it is good but torpedoes are fun, seeing those ships can't push because torpedoes are coming for them every 1 minute is hillarious
Kinda wished that it had Smaland dpm. A lot of superships are overtuned anyways so it’s weird to have a Super Pan EU DD with less dpm than the T10s.

Smaland isn't a tech tree. The tech tree is focused on torps so yeah, it's normal to have the supership focused on torps too.
When the EU gunboats line will be released, then you'll see better firepower.
This thing is as big as many mid-tier cruisers. The torp spamming looks great for co-op, but the size of her and the operating costs... (shudder)
Anything above tier 7 will lose you soooo much credits in Co-Op (unless you want to waste Credit Boosters which you shouldn’t - more valuable for PvP). I don’t dare think about how much you lose by bringing a Supadupa(TM) Ship…
@@Ett.Gammalt.Bergtroll I've been in the game for five years; I know very well what the economy is like. These days, costs are lower in co-op than in randoms to mitigate that a bit, but IMO supership purchase and operation shouldn't even be _considered_ unless you're starting out with well over a hundred million credits.
If I want to go have some fun with supers, I'll wait for the Public Test Server to go live. That thing gives you so many credits, you can play superships all day long on the test account and never run out.
blowouts are designed. You can't tell me that 10 people above 50 end up on one team and the other has 1 or 2 and then call it "random". This same shit happened with WoT after like 4 years, when the population was looking bad they switched from players gained/retained to a "games played" metric. After that, the games got progressively worse and worse with the blatant team rigging. The faster you can end a game by stacking one team to quickly win, the faster you can pump up that games played metric. I'm starting to see this more and more in WoWs, so I can only imagine they've made this metric shift in WoWs already, and the games will continue to get worse and worse.
