The details of the radio room looks great I love how you put so much detail into the interior all these little details make the models look so much better and it show on how much you love to make them unique and sets it apart from other models.
it's beautiful !! Congrats!! But it is not for nothing, Realizing that a lot of young guys went on daylight bombing missions to Germany in these tin cans....I live in a country ( the Netherlands) were a lot of these planes were shot down, almost every cemetary in this country has graves of these very young, very brave men. Thanks!
Hello buddy, good to see a video from you. I hope you and your family are all well and doing OK. Love that cockpit it's some cracking work. You could add one of those navigation/distance type tools can't think of the name, a map and choccy wrappers. Just an idea. Oh perhaps a small wire with some headphones attached to them resting on the seat or table. Please stay safe buddy
Hope all is well with you as well? Some great ideas there... I will be using those tools in the nose where the Navigator sits. I’m almost to the point where I’ll put a guest book there LOL...
Sorry i didn't see this video sooner. That second table in the radio room isn't there on the real plane as far as i have been able to tell. There is an escape and flight engineers observation hatch right above that. I left that table out and used one of the unused oxygen tanks there. I used small "two tab" lego's for the radio stacks against the rear wall and other radio table. They are a little bit out of scale but look good. Wish i knew how to send pic's. Finally got a 1/32 HK B-17G late model through Amazon a few days ago. $347.00 They also have the 1/32 B-17E/F. $400 and some dollars. Thank's for the video's!
@@inclusivemodeldesigns16 Yes i know. Had the same problem.Working on HB 1/32 B-24 myself. Nat museum 360 tour? I have found some pic.s looking forward from the bomb bay of a restored b-24. For all of it's faults i still really like this kit. The HK B-17 is awesome! Thanks for the reply, I really like your videos
For great detail stuff on this model of B-24, try the National Museum of the USAF, and go to their Cockpit 360 virtual tour of their B-24D, the radio room is one of the areas covered, looks like theirs doesn't have that mystery table. could have been something that were in particular aircraft...
I have used that site a great deal. The 3D mode is quite cool! One thing that I have noticed when building the B-24D is that that no 2 were alike. So many changes were made. Also the plane looks different depending on what plant it came out of.
would it be possible if i could try and attempt to be able to cut certain sections so i can see all the detail inside and be able to place the section back in place with the help of some small magnets I could add to where Iv cut the sections off.
Please don't quote me but somewhere in my photo archives I believe I have a picture of the area of the table in question, now I will start digging for it.
Take a look at Kermits B-24 walkround at Fantasy of Flight its on his channel. The aircraft is original including the interior. He takes you through the interior, this may help with your interior detailing.
I have seen Kermits B-24 videos on the B-24J. Very cool... It is kinda helpful, but not so much on the Radio Room. I wonder if they moved it towards the back by the Ball Turret later or after the war? With me building the "D" it seems so hard to find anything... It's mostly "J"... Thank you for the help Dave...
That's a great idea with the hatch! Forgot all about them! As to the photo's I have been all over the net... It has come down to just going with the average...

Thanks, glad you like the model thus far. As for video length, I find that people like the shorter videos on average. I’m really not in it for view counts. As long as people get ideas and I get ideas it all works out.
"I have fun doing it" --- you couldn't say it more perfectly! ❤
That has to be the best box art on any B-24
Heroic!

Thank you Tim... A lot of thought and research is going into this build...

Thank you. Living where you live I bet you have that kind of history all around you!

I am sure you could. Do some pre-fitting and then you can measure where you need to cut.
How did you manage the Lucky Strikes? Nice add!
Hey mate where did you get the bomb scope
Please don't quote me but somewhere in my photo archives I believe I have a picture of the area of the table in question, now I will start digging for it.
That would be fantastic! I will hold you to it! LOL..... Kidding....

Watch Kermit Weeks B 24 walk through that will give a good idea of whats missing and what it looks like
I have seen his videos.. Great for a B-24J.. Will come in handy for that model.. The D not as much...
Talk to Kermit weeks about the b24 interior
His is the “J” and has passed hands. Lots of original equipment, but something’s don’t’t match like the Radio Room.
No need to do battle damage just leave top emergency hatch open. If you looking for interior fotos go to Pinterest there is plenty B24s there.

If you made your videos full length and not parts you'd get more views. Either way nice work!

@@inclusivemodeldesigns16 Fair enough.
Pilot and copilot seats are too far back.
They look to be slid back as if exiting the plane.
Seat slid back and forth.
Unrealistic distance between the pilots seats, and the controls.
( Only for pilots with giant legs and arms.!!!!! )
Seats go back when not in flight.
You do understand that when pilots exit the plane they slide the seats back?
